Mitico in Bologna - a Hotel not to be missed!
Mitico was our first experience with a key card operating the lights and a/c. Once we figured that out, life was good. Front desk staff professional. The room was comfortable in size and the shower generous in size. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING!!! The buffet had a huge variety for everyone and was restocked as necessary.

Booked this hotel, located out of the city, for spa facilities. On arrival it was noted this is not included and starting price is €109. This was nowhere mentioned on hotels.com. I emailed hotels.com about this, so far, 7 days later, no response. Matras was to soft and no soundproofing in the rooms. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good with vegetarian and even vegan pastry choices.

Mitico - DON’T GO!
Terrible service. It was not made clear to me that the spa was an additional charge on top of the hotel visit. (I’d paid £680 for 4 nights in this place!) I thought it was only extra charges for treatments but I was physically ejected from the sauna on my first evening. The rooms were not sound proofed, I spent 4 nights in the hotel and was awakened every night either through other residents making noise/banging doors, or the cleaners beginning to move beds and furniture at 8-9am every morning. Do your homework before booking, don’t make the mistakes I did!

Mi trovo sempre benissimo al Mitico. Pulizia, professionalità, ma soprattutto la loro colazione pazzesca con tante opzioni dolci e salate. Unica pecca di stamattina è stata che volevo farmi un espresso e le tazzine erano un po' incollate al ripiano su cui poggiavano, avrei potuto chiederne una pulita direttamente al bar ma ero molto di fretta. Per il resto, è sempre il mio posto preferito dove pernottare in zona. Buona giornata :)

Good position - close to the city center and to Fiera di Bologna. Well served with public transportation and easy to reach by car. The Staff was very kind and helpful.

The breakfast is worth the trip here. What a spread of delicious foods assembled in a large, easy to access area. The bed is comfortable. The space is well laid out. The air conditioning is not good enough to give a 5 star review.
