The TV would turn up in the middle of the night, several times. Reported to reception next morning and second night was the same. We had to unplugged the TV from the mains. Water taps in the bath where the wrong way round, cold on the left and hot on the right. On top of that, the water temperature kept changing I guess when other rooms opened the hot or cold water. They should chnge the taps for thermostatic ones.

spot on great value
Spent the day in Edinburgh and needed a place to stay, this place Falkirk turned out to be a real gem. Easy to find 30-40mins from Edinburgh. The room a large double was BIG and had loads of space. A great surpise. Nice clean and tidy slept like a baby, despite a party going on in the function room. Breakfast was great, cereals, tea coffee all available and the two breaks wife and I had were on point. Overall great value and I can truly say absolute bargain compared to what you’d pay for a similar start hotel. Wil defo be back.

A pleasant comfortable hotel to stay at with plenty of on site parking. Good bar serving good reasonably priced food and drinks.

The hotel has a rich history but no elevator. There was a booking issue caused by the hotel but the staff went above and beyond to make it right. There is easy parking at the hotel.

The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was great value with a good breakfast. The waiter offered to substitute any items we did not want on the full Scottish breakfast. Only slight issue was the bar food was advertised as stopping at 10 but was not available.. perhaps this should be 9:30.

Could not fault staff or the food and service. Room was lovely however we were close to the kitchen extractor fan which went off after 10pm and came on early for breakfast. That apart great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Saturday Stay
The stay was fine. We arrived late and reception was not maned so we had to search for the staff. When we checked out there was no one around either so we just had to drop the key and go.
