Tallowood beachfront cottage

STRAIGHT ACROSS BEACH
The cottage is located on the corner of Rodley Street and Beach Street. Rainbow beach, Bonny Hill's main patrolled beach, is straight across the road. Unleashed dog friendly beach is diagonally across the road across Vinegar Creek. Put on your cosies, walk 10 steps and off you go! How good is this?! Watch the kids play in the playground diagonally across the road while you chill on the deck.

MODERNISED BEACH COTTAGE
The cottage has recently received some needed TLC to restore it to its former glory and add some of today's standards such as dishwasher, airco, WIFI yet preserving its original character. It has an open plan living and pleasant beach vibe.
This is one of three traditional cottages and the last one standing in Bonny Hills. The cottage has been used by many families from inland NSW and the city from the 1950's onwards to holiday on the coast. Back then Bonny Hills was only reachable by dirt road.

ROOMS, BATH AND BEDS SLEEPS 2 to 6 GUESTS
Great stay for couples, two couples or a family.
Two bedrooms (queen beds), one main bathroom inside, extra toilet outside and second traditional shower in separate laundry building. BEDS: master bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom with queen bed and single bed.

LARGE YARD
Green lawns surround the cottage with native plants decorating the borders. The beach is your front lawn.

PET FRIENDLY
Furry friends are welcome. Ideally outside dogs or well trained smaller inside dogs. Pets to be kept off furniture and beds, at night pets can sleep inside at back hallway or in the laundry. Please just chat to us about your needs and kindly inform us about the type of pet. Thank you! The side yard and back patio are fully enclosed.

What a great location right opposite the beach. The property was the perfect beach house as it had everything you needed & was relaxed enough not to be worried about having the dog there or coming in with sandy feet. We loved it so much we rebooked.

Great location, great support but it's not as clean as expected for the high fee, it can get hot and fan in main bedroom is tiny and noisy, a tower fan would be better (or ceiling)

Unbeatable beach location
A cosy beach shack across the road from the beach with beach views and stroll to cafe and pub. The second bedroom was cramped with bedding for four people with no shelves or storage for personal belongings - but it was a comfortable stay for two people.

The cottage is located opportune beach and has a ramp from the front deck to the grass providing exclusive access to beach. The cottage is lovely with just enough honey touches without being too cluttered. Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful Beach Property
Excellent location, surf breaks that meet every level of surfer or swimmer, friendly locals and a great stretch of pet friendly beach. Sitting on the front deck with a wine watching surf was a nice relaxing experience. Loved it.

Location is perfect. Super cute property with everything we needed for a few nights away. Dog friendly with gated front veranda overlooking beach and fenced rear yard. Great spot.

Beautiful Bonny Hills
Wonderful, relaxing and quiet beach home. Beds are extremely comfortable, all modern appliances and proximity to the beach and Fat Fish Cafe is great. Highly recommend a stay here.

Great dog friendly beach side cottage
Beautifully Renovated original beach cottage directly opposite the beach and dog friendly which for us was a big ++. Location was perfect for our short getaway. The cottage living space and kitchen are well equipped and perfect for a short stay. Main bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has a queen and bunks. Suggest suitable for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids only. Due to Covid we didn’t get to experience the Fat Fish restaurant / Cafe or surf club across the road but plenty of options around the area. Definitely recommended. Paul and Karen (Newport)

Fabulous!
WOW - what a fabulous location and wonderfully welcoming, and well styled cottage. We stayed with a family of 5 and had plenty of room, and all the comforts. Loved being able to stroll across the road to the beach, or just sit on the verandah and enjoy the breeze. Highly recommend!
