Friendly staff but hotel in poor shape
Staff were friendly but state of hotel itself was poor. Carpets in our room were wet & there was an overall dampness. When I called about rug, I was told all room rugs had been deep cleaned and there wasn’t another for us to go to. Looks like the building was dealing with water damage in general. Dampness appeared to cause doors to swell. Bathroom door couldn’t be shut & it took effort to close main door to room.

Upon arrival, I noticed that the door to my room was not fully shut. So I went downstairs to ask the front desk person to change me to a different room, and he said that they were fully booked. He wanted me to go and check out the room. If I didn’t feel safe, he would try to move me to a different room. I felt like a burden to the front desk person, although I had every right to feel uncomfortable. That night, I had a hard time sleeping and could not wait to get up in the morning and leave. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Comfortable stay for three nights. . Breakfast was underwhelming: potatoes were dry or freezer burnt; no bacon on 2 of 3 days; oj was watery on one day; bread choices were bland; eggs tasteless--sad way to start the day. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Pool had convenient hours, with pool towels always available. Room (bathroom), pool, and hallways showing signs of a less-than remodeling when BW took ownership of the property. Coffee and tea station open 24 hrs.

Nice hotel, mostly.
My bed was really hard and I had difficulty sleeping. But the hotel is nice. The kids really enjoyed the pool and they have a great breakfast!

Always a welcome greeting when entering the building. Breakfast staff were helpful. Beautiful greenery surrounding building Quiet area and temperature control allowed for a great night sleep Great mattress and bed Didn't like pincher bug on top of microwave cart Ruts in parking lot need repair Some cleaning to be done on carpet areas in hall and room, plaster on the floor near my door

Room was good size with nice bathroom and clean. Mattress was worn out which I reported before checkout. Breakfast was okay. Cant go wrong with a waffle maker. Very nice staff.
