3-Story, 2-bd, 2-bath conveniently located in Boppard.
The house was a perfect place to spread out and relax, while exploring the Rhine by car and boat. The paid parking lot was very convenient to the lodging (once we discovered the shortcut under the road and up some stairs). We didn’t take advantage of the sauna or the jacuzzi tub, but the washer and full kitchen was perfect. I was surprised to find that the bed on the top floor was a waterbed—I slept like a baby. Bring your own toiletries. Beds are on upper floors using a spiral staircase. The bathroom with the shower is on the ground floor. The bathroom with the tub is on the middle floor. This was not an issue for us, but good to know. It was a short walk to the river to take the boat or car ferry. Excellent alternative to a hotel.

Amazing stay
Such a great location in Boppard, with easy access to explore the town itself, and the rest of the Rhine region. The house is appointed with everything needed for a relaxing stay, with nearby groceries, parking, and shops. Our 3 nights went far too quickly, hopefully we can come back some time!

Wonderful holiday home in fantastic location
We were three adult family members looking for a base to explore the Rhine Valley and beyond. This property did not disappoint. The home is very well equipped, was spotlessly clean and was perfect for our group. Communication with Andrea was great, as was access on the first day. The kitchen is more than adequate with all the essentials to see you through a holiday. As others have mentioned, the futons in the lounge are not the most comfortable but we spent most of our time outside in the lovely yard. Our visit coincided with some very hot weather. As such the top floor of the house did get very hot. The AC unit did work well to manage this, without it things would have been unbearable. The town of Boppard is fabulous with many places to eat and drink and also the railway station for easy access elsewhere. We didn't use the sauna or jacuzzi (due to the heat outside!) but they looked of good quality. Car parking now costs 6 euros per day (8am - 6pm) on the top storey of the nearby 2-storey car park - much more to park on the ground level! The neighbours were lovely offering a friendly wave as we returned to the house - Der Fenstergucker was a real character, it was just a shame that he wasn't 'on duty' when it came time for us to leave and for us to say goodbye. In summary, a lovely home that we thoroughly recommend for short or longer stays alike.

Boppard is a hidden gem!
Boppard was a nice surprise. It is a quaint, charming, comfortable village and is a great home base for exploring the upper middle Rhine valley. Andrea is a wonderful host with great communication. The home is just as described. It is spacious, clean, and well functioning. Yes, there are stairs, and yes, you hear trains, but we slept great and were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching local life go by. We also enjoyed walking through town and along the river all hours of the day and night. The local residents were fun and kind. The train station is an easy walk from the home.

Fantastic place for R&R
Andrea‘s place is really unique and a great way to introduce you to Boppard. It’s got Roman walls inside that set the mood for this Rhine town and it’s got huge rooms, including a jacuzzi tub and two outside sitting areas. Immaculately clean, and Andrea is easy to reach. Great location, too.

Villa-stay with all amenities
The house has everything you need and is very luxurious. Everything is very clean and well kept. And all is as is described. Andrea welcomed us warmly and showed us the house and explained how everything worked. It is a perfect place to stay longer and to explore the region. We stayed here in a wet weekend, but with sunny days you can also enjoy several places outside. You can park the car nearby in the parking garage (free) on the other side of the railway (3 min walk). The only thing we had to get used to was the sound of the trains, since the house is next to the railway. Boppard is a nice cozy town. It was clearly off season (end of February). But the nature and surroundings have a lot to offer.

Wonderful Stay in Boppard
My wife, her sister and our brother in law thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during mid-late September 2019. It is a well designed home and includes many "little things" (especially in the kitchen and WC's) that are not always offered or provided to the renter during VRBO type stays. Andrea waited patiently at the house for us and gave us a very good intro to the house when we arrived. Parking is interesting but very convenient five minutes away. The location of the house is great - within a two minute walk into town for bakeries, groceries, etc. Boppard is a great place to use as a base while exploring the Rheine between Koblenz and Bacharach (or further). We used the train to ride down to Bacharach for touring with a KD cruise on the river back to Boppard with many castles on both sides of the river to see during the ride. I strongly recommend this property for anyone looking to visit this area. .

Amazing apartment in the middle of Boppard. Extremely clean, very private, perfect for exploring.
The apartment was as per the listing. Extremely clean and tidy, everything you could need and more. Really cool to have the old town walls inside the apartment. Free parking only 100 metres away. Situated right in the middle of the old town so good to walk around in the evening. Heaps of restaurants to choice from. Andrea the host was very communicative and helpful. Great place to stay for exploring the area including the Rhine and Mosel Rivers. Highly recommend staying at this apartment.

Perfect location in Boppard
Villa Bodabrica was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the beautiful Rhine and Mosel Rivers in Germany! The location was perfect. We were only about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Visiting towns along the Rhine and Mosel was very easy by train. We visited Marks Castle, Burg Eltz (near Moselkern, so that involves a little more walking), and Rheinfels Castle. We also did a boat trip from Bacharach to Boppard on the KD line. Very nice! There is a small ferry in Boppard that crosses the river every 15 minutes or so. Very easy to get around without a car. Boppard was a lovely town to stay in, very clean and easy to navigate. We felt very safe and comfortable there. Andrea’s house is amazing!! It is so cool that that the house is built right into some of the old stone walls of town! The house is very well equipped with just about everything we could possibly need when traveling. We especially liked that there was a washer and dryer (even though we never could figure out how to work the dryer! I think the language barrier was the culprit in not figuring out how to get to the dryer cycle). Luckily, we had nice weather and could hang our clothes out! The bed was quite comfy, and the patio was an extra added bonus. It was a lovely place to end our somewhat chaotic days of touring. We loved our stay there, and would definitely stay again! Thank you, Andrea!

Fantastic Location, historic building!
Andrea is a terrific host and made sure our stay was comfortable. The home is so unique and being able to sleep, live and shower next to ancient ruins is an experience no one should pass up. The street is quiet, while there are trains very close, they didn't bother us.

A place you would want to return to...amazing....
The house is a beautiful, modern, open-concept home…the medieval wall throughout the house is amazing, and the large back patio area is very private. Very clean, all the amenities that you would need. Andrea is very nice, and very helpful. The location is excellent for exploring the large cities and small quaint historical towns from Trier to Frankfurt, Dusseldorf to Stuttgart. We stayed at Villa Bodobrica for 19 days, and have already recommend the house to others and would stay again. Though the train tracks are close, we did not find the noise an issue as others have indicated. For groceries and wine/beer, both Reve (large with butcher, excellent cheese selection and bakery) and Penny are within walking distance, as are bakeries, restaurants, as is the whole town. Drive 5 minutes south to an Aldi's, a discount type grocery store; they carry a very good French Chardonnay from Pay d’Or for 2 euros. We never drink Riesling in Canada, but found the dry (trocken) German Riesling excellent. A must see is the small village of Bacharach, on the Rhine. The building lining the cobblestone main street are probably close to two hundred years old, have been beautifully restored and is the prettiest village we saw, with lots of small shops, wineries and restaurants. They also have a castle that is now a Youth Hostel, it is worth the climb. We learnt minimum German words and had no problem communicating. Thank you Andrea for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back. Rene and Larry from Canada

Beautiful home in a cute area!
Had communication issues with Andrea only because we had a 3 hour flight delay & a (highly unusual) 1 hour train delay. Found the house fairly clean,( open wine bottle in the fridge, a few mystery items in the freezer). Had to buy toilet paper & paper towels. AC is a portable unit. Plenty of kitchen items, great location, friendly neighbor. Would stay again if I ever return to Boppard.
