Beautiful city - great hotel
Lovely hotel. We were upgraded to a deluxe comfort room. Check in was easy and staff very helpful. The rooms were clean and well decorated, comfortable beds and air conditioning too! Bordeaux is a beautiful city. Driving around isn’t easy as it’s mostly pedestrianised but the staff in the hotel were very helpful with directions and maps and we received discounted parking locally, with our stay. Family friendly - yes.

Having stayed here multiple times, I can confidently say this hotel consistently meets my expectations, and I would gladly return. **Highlights:** - **Great Location:** The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to walk to key attractions such as the Grand Theater and the river. - **Cleanliness:** The rooms and common areas are impeccably clean. - **Wonderful Staff:** The reception staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. - **Eco-Friendly Amenities:** The new water dispenser system near the reception is a fantastic addition, helping to reduce plastic waste. **Room and Amenities:** - The rooms, though small, are creatively designed to maximize space. For business travelers like myself who primarily need a place to sleep, the room size is not an issue. - The rooms are well-maintained and equipped with all necessary amenities. **Breakfast:** - The breakfast is good, offering a variety of options without being overly grand. Very small hotel on side road near best spots in downtown area. Most things walkable. Rooms small but efficient and quiet. Lobby bar was very eclectic and great vibe. Theo, bartender, was amazing and made returning each evening a fun experience!

We spent three nights at the Best Western Grand Hotel Francais and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful (other than one somewhat minor issue) and the hotel itself was outstanding. The room was not large, but it was very comfortable. The property is in a great location right in the heart of downtown Bordeaux and easy to walk to almost all of the attractions. The small issue was with the bathroom door handle coming off which was not fixed the night we identified it to the front desk- but we were able to work around it and it did not affect our stayl
