Room was 1 room away from front desk, first floor. Door had large gap all around it. Very noisey front desk attendant and staff arounf 6:30 AM and from guests in sitting area across the lobby until 12:30AM. Need to restore seals on doors and enforce quiet time. We stayed here a couple years ago and seems quality, upkeep and staff have declined.

Upon arrival I noticed hair in the shower that was dried to the tile. There was also a hair tie on the floor close to the tv and the sheets had a few stains on them. The room was clean otherwise but appeared to be done in haste or with little attention to detail. We did not do early check in. The pool was very clean and the fire pit was very relaxing. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was amazingly decorated for Halloween. Everything was great except the cleanliness of our room.

Fantastic location for our trip to Boston and Salem. Free parking allowed us to rent a Turo and not be locked in to a Lyft every time we need to go somewhere as there wasn't anywhere to walk to and public transport required a drive to get to. Staff were great and the breakfast buffet did it's job.

Very clean and surprisingly, very comfortable bed! I had never stayed on a Best western before. But after not being able to find a hotel in downtown Boston due to some event hiking the prices up… We had to stay on the outskirts and this was available at a reasonable price. The downside was we arrived very early in the morning since our flight got into town super early. And the service desk was not budging at all on letting us get a room and check in early. We travel often and almost all of the time they will offer a room earlier than the stated check in time. But in this instance, he refused without a charge to let us have a room any earlier than four. So we dropped our bags off behind the desk, and ready and cleaned up in the hotel bathroom after traveling to head out. Of course that sucked and was extremely awkward… But we had to make the best of it.

The rooms were the standard rooms you would typically find in a hotel. The sheets were super clean and the pillows were a unique size but they were surprisingly comfortable. The free continental breakfast was delicious and there were so many options. My friend has a dairy allergy and they were so accommodating. The only complaint I really have about the room is that the tub drain was clogged and it drained really slowly. This seems to be a common issue in hotels. The hotel is also kind of far from Salem, about 20 minutes away. But it was nice to see another part of Massachusetts and the hotel is also close to the original building sites of some local memorials that we were able to visit. I hope this review helps! I recommend staying here for your visit to Salem but go at the end of September and no later.

I called to cancel my reservation 4 hours after i made it the manager told me i had to give a 24 hr notice i said its only been 4 hrs that i made it they charged my card anyway very unprofessional way to do business he said there was nothing i could do !!
