Cute but loud and noisy.
Cute place. Location is great for walking to restaurants. Rooms are small as usual in a city. They use actual keys to open doors so when you’re drunk neighbor shows up at 1am it’s really loud listening to everyone in the hallway trying to open their door with a key. Housekeeping decided to vaccum at 7:45am after a night of interruption. Didn’t sleep due to noise thru out the night. Overpriced for what it was.

The walls are paper-thin and I was kept up late from creaky noises of people walking in the room one floor above mine. The bathroom floor had hair on it.

Convenient to the T and walkable to many great areas. Staff was very friendly and customer-oriented. Loved the stereo in the room with built in speakers. View to street was great.

BEWARE! Under no circumstances would i stay at this hotel again. We checked in, went to dinner, and upon our return there were personal items missing from the room. Some of which were my wifes medications. We reported it to the front desk. No help. Filing a police report but this property is NOT SAFE.

Location great. Staff friendly. Room small, but had everything needed. Bed and pillows crinkly and very uncomfortable. Rough night's sleep. Good croissants and cappuccino in the cafe attached to the hotel.

This is nowhere near a four star hotel. This is a two or three star hotel, and I'm just trying to be generous smallest room ever stayed in an old TV that didn't work. The room has DVR's?? an old-fashioned keys

Good small hotel
It was a good small hotel. Clean, great bed and linens. I was disappointed in how low the lighting was in the bathroom, no fan, and in today’s eco conscious mentality, single use toiletries. Also, I was relieved that I brought my plugs as I was surprised there were no usb ports in the room.

It was an ok stay. For $400 for the night though, I would expect an actual breakfast, not just a luke warm coffee and a croissant. Also, parking validation for the prudential garage, which was recommended on the booking app, would have been nice. Again, for the price...

The staff was friendly and helpful with directions to attractions in the area. Hotel was clean. Perfect location to walk to Fenway and many other areas. Parking was close by and easy. Would definitely stay again!

Horrible hotel
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. On the first day, we notified the staff that our room phone wasn't working. They promised to have a service technician check it and replace it if necessary. Additionally, the shower head leaked constantly, creating an annoying sound that disturbed our sleep each night. The AC system also made a loud noise every time it turned on and off, which initially made me think someone was opening the door. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Charming, cozy hotel in a great neighborhood. Small room but that was fine as we were mostly out and about. The old-school TV/DVD/VHS was a bit clumsy though, to the point I needed the clerk to come up and show me how to get the TV working and how to switch to DVD. (There were buttons on the back side of the TV, not visible or marked in any way). No instructions provided. It was nice to have croissants in the morning but they were plain and no jam was offered. They really need jam and it can't cost that much to have some packets available. All in all this is a good hotel but a couple changes and it could be excellent.

Wonderful little hotel in the heart of the Back Bay. Very close to the T and Fenway Park. Staff where very helpful and super friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

The room was listed as "windowless" but it did infact have a window but it was ground level. We were basically in the basement, which was kinda cool. They had a VHS library and our room had a VCR and dvd player which we found charmingly retro. sadly we couldnt get the sound to work. my only real complaint was that the room had a slight musty basement smell, as if it had flooded at some point. All in all it was perfectly located for our quick 24 hour visit. The night time clark T the front desk was particularly helpful when we came back drunk after the show and wanted to order food. We had a very pleasant and easy stay.
