Good location, walking distance to attractions. Great conditions of the rooms and facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant on property is pretty good, a little on the expensive side. The breakfast cafe mimics Starbucks- sandwiches are pre-maid and come out of the refrigerator, pastries are good. In general we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay. The only downside is the price for valets parking, but it’s the average price in the area.

Definitely one of the best hotels I have saved in. The lobby and room decors were pleasant. The room was really big. There are a lot of restaurants in and around the hotel. The restaurant we had dinner in had great food. (Do check your bill for the 'kitchen appreciation charge' though). Most of the corporate offices were close by, and within walking distance of the hotel. I liked that the hotel offered valet parking, with in-and-out privileges. Although it cost a staggering $62 per day. A couple of minor issues that required engineering to come up to our room to fix, but were taken care of promptly.

When we went to check into our hotel room that we had booked well in advanced we were told that we couldn’t because they only allow people who are 21 stay here. Me and my wife are only 20 years old we were then told that we had to leave so we took our bags and had to find a new hotel while standing on the sidewalk. This is rather upsetting to us because we had pre reserved the room through your app. We would like to be giving some sort of compensation for this inconvenience.

When we first arrived, it appeared that our room had not been completely cleaned. It wasn't dirty, but it didn't look totally set up for new visitors. When I returned to the front desk, they gave us a new room (that I believe was an upgrade) and they checked in with my by text a few times to see how things were going. They gave us a 2 hour delay on our checkout time as well. Thank you Dagny. Everyone was professional and courteous!

When I go back to Boston, this will be the place I stay each time. Each staff member that I interacted with was friendly from the front desk person to the lady who cleaned our room. The coffee place that the hotel has is excellent. We used our $10 voucher down there each day. Their lattes were amazing as well as their chicken parm sandwich and their croissants! This is in a great quiet location that is easily walkable to the train station, Quincey market, and seaport. 10/10 recommend!!

Went to Boston to visit from Dec 31-Jan 5th with 2 kids (9 and 10) and my husband. The doormen were always friendly and readily available. John, the concierge was fantastic! He had amazing recommendations and was able to get us a reservation for dinner for for 4 on new years eve! We had a corner room and it was very spacious and original. Our room was always made when we got back. It didn't matter how late we left the room. EVERYTHING we did was walking distance! Boston Commons Park (there was an ice skating ring and a playground that the kids enjoyed), the aquarium, Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, subway station to Harvard... Overall, I highly recommend this hotel

Historic building in central location
Our stay in rm 527 was great for a family of 3! This room was so spacious, witha view of the clocktower. The staff was exceptionally friendly! The hotel's location is walking distance to many important sights, as well as transit stations and bus stops. With that in mind, it was a little noisy, but it's expected in the downtown of a major city. The sofabed was broken in our room, but my teenage son was still able to use it. Maintenance was not able to fix it. Our heater stopped working, but they did fix that immediately. The beds were just ok. The matress will need replacing soon, but it was comfortable enough. The bathroom lighting is rather dim. I loved the pillows and the nespresso machine. We were provided a $10 daily coupon at the cafe on the lobby level (which is not run by the hotel), The Tradesman. I was not impressed by their service. They got our order wrong literally every time. But there are so many dining options within walking distance. For a quick, inexpensive diner, try Max's. For a really delicious weekend brunch, try Fin's (also in the lobby). My husband and son really liked the gym. Overall, I would rate it a solid 3.5 star hotel, and I'd be happy to return!
