There is major construction of a hospital across the street. The rooms are noise when the AC comes on. The gym is very small, no place to stretch on floor (no mats). My shower ran out of shampoo (it was empty!). I asked for a refill after, person said yes, and it didn't happen. Had to call desk to get someone to fill it up.

I would have given zero-star if I could. Disappointing service with Hyatt this time. The room and location are good. However, the front desk lied to me about the destination fee. We saw that on Expedia when we booked it and asked the front desk. The front desk claimed that if we don't use anything on the list, they will refund the destination fee. So we didn't use anything, including the $10 food credit, hotel shuttle, coffee machine. On the day of checkout, the front desk re-assured to us that we will get refunded for both destination fee and the hold. However, after 10 days, destination fee is not refunded and I called them. They said the company's policy states that $20 destination fee is imposed mandatorily. THIS IS STRAIGHT UP LYING TO CUSTOMERS. I am very disappointed at Hyatt for lying.

Nice location
the location was nice, our room was slightly disappointing, we reserved a river room, however the window was damaged so it obscured the view we paid for, the sheer curtains were shredded. The rest of the hotel was nice, the employees were all happy and helpful. Our room was clean. I let the mgr know about our issue with the room, he took care of us with a smile.

the view is very good , facing the charles river,the front desk girl is so helpful. room is very clean, bed is so comfortable. the location is not close to metro station, it’s better you have a car or go there by uber . next to MIT, a few minutes drive to harvard. no shopping closeby.

The hotel was pretty in the lobby but the room was tired looking .. the bedroom was comfy but the bathroom was so very tiny.. I could not even bend down to shave my legs in the shower.. it was a very decent stay for the money but not sure I would return..

While it’s an old hotel with some funky design choices, the updates are well done, location is amazing, staff are AWESOME, bar/restaurant is solid and views are some of the best if the city! Special shout out yo Hagos and the night crew who went above and beyond to help me out after travel drama.
