Plans with family changed on the day I arrived to Boston. The hotel was very accomodating in checking me in early. The staff were all very pleasant and professional. Also, I highly recommend the lamb shank for dinner. It was very well cooked and flavorful, saving me from having to decide where to go at any number of the great nearby restaurants.

We stayed for 2 nights. Newer hotel in the area, staff friendly. We were upgraded to a king room. Room was spacious, plenty of room for our 2 years to run around. The room had full couch, desk, table with chairs and a kitchen area, stove, full size fridge and microwave oven. what is lacking were kitchen items. Not sure how one would use a stove without the appropriate tools ( pans & etc), but I'm sure they are working through some kinks.

When I got to the hotel the bathroom didn’t have shower gel, couldn’t do dinner because the restaurant was close. Breakfast was not available either. I had some money from Expedia and I couldn’t use it because the restaurant was closed that night and there was no other ways to spend it. Hotel was nice and good location, walkable distance to local shops.

Luxury, brand new hotel
This is a brand new hotel and I believe it will soon become known as a luxury destination. Our room was spacious and bright and beautiful. The bedding was luxurious and reminded me of the Ritz. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a full refrigerator, freezer and sink in our bedroom (we upgraded the room type we had so I’m not sure that’s standard). Our room also had a Vertuo Nespresso machine. My only complaint is there are motion sensitive lights at the bottom of the bed, presumably to light your way if you get up in the middle of the night, but I found them to be too sensitive. Like if I rolled over and the comforter adjusted as a result, the light would detect the motion and come on. We covered the lights with our towels and that fixed the problem. Other reviewers seemed to love the lights so I think it’s up to the individual person! We got room service one day for breakfast but we saw there was a Trader Joe’s a block away and picked up food for the following mornings.

This a a wonderfully designed, high tech new hotel in the Brookline Neighborhood, right next to the Marriott Courtyard. Their biggest issue is the quality of staff. Their demeanour and skill level at the Front Desk is not at par with the caliber of this hotel. I asked for a simple incidental bill at check out that lists 1 coffee and valet. The Front Desk agent was not able to furnish me with it. I was in a hurry and gave up. We stayed in a room with 2 beds. The room has sensor lighting under the bedframe which in theory is a great idea when you have to get up in the middle of the night. Unfortunatly the sensors went off every time someone moved in the bed which ended up in a restless night. The beds are very comfortable though. The rooms come with beautiful kitchenettes and a high end Nespresso Coffeemaker. However, the hotel decided to provide Motel level packets with a napkin, a stirrer, sugar and creamer instead of a more high end supplement. They should instead offer real milk or at least the little condensed milk packets. It would be nice to have milk in the refrigerator. F&B staff: I waited more than 5 minutes for someone to come out from the back of the house. They had a bell at the hostess stand which I rang 3 times. There were only 3 people in the restaurant, not busy at all. I was met with bewilderment when I asked for a cup of coffee. Staff shouted in Russian all over the lobby.
