we stayed here for a week and it was a very nice place. we got free breakfast everyday of our stay which was amazing (pancakes, french toast, sausages, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, potatoes, cereal, fruit, toast with spreads). the staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are very spacious and homely. the bus that goes to oak grove (transport link to boston) is across the road from the place which is handy. i would be happy to stay here again. the only downside was the towels not being replaced throughout the week or the room not being cleaned but if you place your rubbish outside the door it will be collected :) highly recommend this place

Basic low budget hotel showing its age. No room service for our stay but if we needed new towels or amenities the front desk had them. Close to commuter rail and also I95. Staff are great and friendly.

Room was extremely outdated, mould on the bathroom ceiling. Was clean enough at check in, but stayed 4 nights and room was never cleaned once, no fresh towels replaced. Only benefit was walking distance to train station. Will not stay there again.

The room was filthy, carpet stains all over. I booked a lake view but couldnt see due to the windows being fogges between the panes of glass. There was mildew in windows and several spiders i had to kill. The tub had no anti slip or traction of any kind. I stepped in & fell bringing the shower curtain with me. (I ended up with a fractured hip) the next moring at breakfast we went through a room (no signs anywhere & unlocked) to go outdoors. The cook and front desk lady came in and yelled at us. Stating the room was reserved and we werent allowed outdoors!! The cook told us we needed to just check out and go stay somewhere else. All for going through an unmarked, unlocked sunroom.

We loved that there was a bar with simple food right in the hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking in the morning sun! The only reason we booked was because of the pond/lake and it was worth it! Went in Nov, so it was cold, but the fire pit and outdoor area overlooking the pond are so relaxing. We loved it

Everything but the smell was good
This place is a little rough. The staff was friendly, let me check in early. The room had a smell to it of old cigarettes. I actually went to the store and bought some Febreeze and sprayed it around my room. I was traveling solo, and am not very picky but the smell of cigarettes is gross. The rug in the room was very stained (just put in hardwood floors). The bar/karaoke night was pretty funny and worth seeing
