A place to go
Its near salem,easy access to the highway. The view of the lake are amazing. The hotel was not new but we are glad of our trip. The breakfast was good and the coffee too.

Stains on sheets which was very disconcerting. Also no hand towels!?? No little refrigerator and band thumping until 11:30 but we expected that. Overall the room did not seem clean. Appreciated the lake view.

I had booked this trip in June and picked pay at property options. When we showed up they said they didn’t have a reservation for me because I didn’t pay for it yet. I explained that I was paying at the time I arrived, they said there were no more rooms available. We were just out of luck! Trying to find another room for that night was difficult! So upset!!!

My stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and cozy with the heater on since it’s winter. I recommend Lakeside if you’re on a getaway trip with your partner or for leisure purpose.

Fine for an overnight stay
I had an early Dr appointment nearby and needed a room the night before. The hotel is old and in need of renovations. Not that I needed one, it also has no elevator. I was looking for an inexpensive basic room and my room was clean, the bed comfortable and had no issues with the bath or shower. They had also a no frills breakfast where I grabbed coffee and toast. Good for an overnight stay and close to Rte 128.

Hotel was great. Bar was awesome we were there on a Sunday night and they had karaoke. The people that were there were great, so nice. The bar tender David was great and so good with the regulars.
