It's a nice hotel in a great location, with close access to the train, shops, restaurants and (0.8 mile away) Harvard University. From what I could see, everything was well-maintained, updated and in good condition. You won't have some of the amenities of a bigger hotel there, but that may not matter to you. Especially at the great price I found through Expedia, the hotel was quite satisfactory to me.

Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of Cambridge , MA. Although not perfect I give you guys 10 stars . I travel all over the world and this hotel is a hidden jewel. Thank you all for your outstanding customer service. keep It up please because without good customer service the most expensive hotel is worthless .

We have stayed at Porter Square many times. Prices are generally reasonable for the area. Most rooms are small, some pretty tight, though appointed well with the basics. Don’t expect closets or dressers. Yes to modest desk space, wifi and tv. Clean and well-maintained. Modern and efficient. Cordial and helpful staff
