During our recent stay at Hotel Salem, we were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located near numerous shopping centers, making it easy to walk to various attractions such as the train station, food outlets, malls, and some charming pubs. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's adorable decor, which added a touch of charm to the clean and well-maintained premises. Additionally, the bar at the hotel served fantastic drinks that we greatly enjoyed. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend Hotel Salem to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable place to stay.

Kaleigh greeted us with the kindest energy I've ever received at a hotel. She was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We had the pleasure of talking to Zach in the morning and he was delightful. Everyone at the hotel was so nice. The hotel was funky, clean and SO centrally located! The beds were super comfortable and there was a fantastic amount of towels! Its my favorite Salem Hotel!

We were in a super small room and they have one way Ac/heat. Being from Florida not knowing we got hot and turned down the AC but that only pushed more heat in the room. 73 degrees all night.

For our first visit to Salem I was ecstatic over location of this hotel, literally in the middle of downtown Salem! You walk out the front entrance and you are just walking distance from shopping, dining, museums, exhibits, you name it, it’s right there! There is no onsite parking so you have to utilize a parking garage, which again is only 2-3 minutes away from the hotel! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the Hotel Salem! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable as well! We had a great time and when we go back, because we will I will be staying right at the Hotel Salem!

The hotel is adorable. Staff was excellent, but the room was “meh”. There was a support beam literally in the middle of our room, and the room description did not share that it was a split bathroom. Toilet on one side, shower/sink on the other. Fine- but annoying in the middle of the night to use the toilet, run into the support beam in the dark trying to find the sink to wash hands. The plumbing fixtures were all loose from the walls/sinks as well. Overall- clean, but definitely had that “old” smell to it. Location was great, walkable to everything. Food options are limited if you’re early (before 10am) or late (after 9pm) people. For such a touristy town, not much stays open late to accommodate anyone outside the 9-5 range. Also- if you have food allergies- good luck, just bring your own.

Good hotel in center of everything
Zack was the best! Offered suggestion for dinner and was fantastic! Very helpful throughout my stay. Only odd thing was toilet was located in other area of room from sink and shower. No shelf for shampoo etc in shower. Drinking Glasses were sitting upside down directly on sink. No parking at hotel. Have to walk approx 3-5 mins with your luggage to get here.

Walking Distance to all things Salem!
Room was cute, but tight. Great use of space, but small. The location was right in the middle of all things Salem, easy walk to everywhere. Be aware, no parking near the hotel and you will need to walk from a parking deck with your bags.
