Other than the elevator being easy to miss (hard to find), this was my best night's sleep - quiet, comfortable bed, perfect pillow, nice and dark room. Checkin was easy and there is a nice wooded walk to the beach - nice walking beach. A wedding reception was happening while we were there, but we heard nothing - not a peep. The grounds were nicely manicured and a pleasure to walk around.

The hotel and room were nice for a one night stay. Staff were very helpful. My one complaint is that the doors don’t fully close unless you push with extra effort. I walked out of my room for the evening and when I came back I realized my door had been cracked open the entire time leaving my stuff out for the taking. I noticed a lot of the doors like this as I walked out. It looks like the doors aren’t heavy enough to close all the way.

Huge disappointment
Room was down in the cellar behind the ax. Window looked out onto a parking lot yet the floor was described as Garden Level. It was the tiniest room in a hotel I’ve ever been. And it was about $200 a night . outrageous. No bellman , no laundry service or even dry cleaning bags, no room service. It was very dated. Not even room for a chair in the room other than a desk chair. Shower curtain smelled of mildew. But they replaced it. Sink was clogged entire time even after asking it to be fixed.
