This property was nothing special, price with fees and taxes for what you get is not a good value. Have stayed in NYC at great boutique hotel with lots more amenities in the heart of Manhattan for lots less.

This hotel was over priced for the stay. The room had dirt and dust on the ceiling and the rooms are outdated. The hotel is in need of updating. The beds are flat and feel like sleeping on the floor. The parking fee was over priced $65 for one night. The construction noise woke me up at 7am! I will never stay here again.

The staff in the lounge/restaurant were great, very friendly and good service. The condition of the property could have been better, broken ice machine, rickety elevator. Outside had debris and garbage.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to correct any misconceptions given the reason I chose it was based on the reviews provided. When I booked our reservation, I booked the previous night to ensure we could get into our room as soon as we got there since we had to take a red eye from the west coast and early check in would not have been early enough for us to rest prior to our event that evening. As soon as I made the reservation, I texted and called the hotel to let them know our situation. When we arrived, we learned they cancelled our reservation due to their no show policy. They didn’t have any notes in their system despite the fact that the person I talked with assured me he had documented our request and that arriving early in the morning would not be a problem. We had prepaid, so they checked us in. But somehow, the woman at the desk made us feel like we had made the mistake and didn’t make any effort to rectify the situation. What’s more, they still charged us for two nights despite the fact that they cancelled our original reservation and made a new one which reflected one night. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation and a good vacuuming. Our room was no different. It was cold, the doors would only close if you slammed them, but the water pressure in the bathroom was good. I would never stay here again and I would sincerely discourage anyone else from staying here too unless they had no other choice.

Good location. A lot of construction for a new hospital across the street. Fire station across from side of the building which can be busy. Parking at $65 USD / night a little much with no access to the car without valet...who would rather bring things to your room than move the vehicle.

I've never given a hotel a bad review before because you usually get what you pay for. This room was $400/ night and the place was a ghetto dump. The room wasn't ready by check in time (4pm!) and there was almost no where to sit in the lobby to wait - not great with 2 kids. We were not allowed to sit in the empty part of the lobby intended for the lobby restaurant guests because we had food with us. We also couldn't go to the pool for the same reason. When we got to our room it was damp and smelled awful despite the incredible amount of air freshener clearly just applied. The bathroom door didn't have a lock and barely closed. The shower was broken - half the water came out the tub faucet, which was loose in the tile. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. I will never stay at a Wyndham again.

Needs a remodel now. We didn't feel safe at dark walking around out front of hotel. Pool closed too early at 9 PM. Valet parking was ridiculous at $60.

The construction across the street started early and went on all day. The desk staff was not friendly nor helpful. At one time we asked for some information about nearby Salem and they just pointed to a rack of brochures in a hallway. The dining room was unstaffed for breakfast and the only way we decided to stay is because everyone in line in front of us decided to leave.

The location was ideal. Twenty minute walk to Boston Common area and the Waterfront. The front staff was pleasant and helpful. FYI - construction site across the street. Hotel is dated. Beds were uncomfortable and bathing was stressful. The shower curtain would not stay closed.
