Get what you pay for - clean and comfortable
For a one night stay travelling through France it was OK. The hoetl is a bit 'tatty' but the room was clean and the bed comfotable, a good shower and the air conditioning in one of the rooms was brilliant. In the other room we had booked it wasn;t working an the hotel staff said they would try to get it fixed but nothing was sorted, or a change of room offered. Overall, if you just want something with no frills and don't mind staying in a hotel that is in desperate need of redecoration, then you should be fine. The restaurant (Buffelo Grill) next door to the hotel was great, the service & food were excellent.

This hotel is a dump!
This hotel is a disgrace. On entering the hotel the smell of cigarette smoke took my breath away. The receptionist was surley. The smell of cigarettes followed me through the hotel and even in my room. The room overlooked a narrow flat roof and from the amount of cigarette butts that had been thrown out of the rooms it is evident that there is no policy against smoking. The state of the room was beyond tired. The only chair to sit on was a wrought iron stool with no cushion. The bedding was creased and gave the impression that it wasn’t fresh. This hotel is a dump.

Simple and good
Always stay here when visiting family in Bourges. Comfortable bed, powerful shower and clean rooms. All you need.

fabulous town shame about the staff at this hotel
The only good thing about this hotel is the free parking. The hotel is a 10 minute stroll into the centre of Bourges. I arrived at 11.00 only to be told that check in was at 17.00. I left my luggage with reception and came back later once in my room I saw that check in was at 14.00. I found the reception I received not very friendly at all. The decoration inside is very tired and needs updating. Bathroom was nice but the actual room with brown chipped walls definitely needs an update. The headboard is much bigger than the bed and the carpet has lots of stains. Reception closes at 21.00 and after that you can not use the communal areas or the lift. The instructions for the wifi are not the same as the actual wifi and you are lucky if you can get it to work. There is an ok steak house next door.

Hôtel complétement rénové avec goût (à l’intérieur), bonne literie, calme, bon accueil, prope. Bon rapport qualité/confort/prix, parking sur place. De quoi se faire un thé ou un café en chambre serait un plus.

Séjour simple. Les chambres sont conformes, mais il faut préciser que des travaux sont en cours, donc, si vous devez vous lever tard… pour le reste, l’essentiel y est.
