Villa Hortense

Boasting spectacular views over the Dordogne Valley, this superb detached holiday home has been built of old stone to offer all the charm of an old building but with every modern-day convenience. It enjoys a large private swimming pool also with wonderful countryside views. The cool interior is stylishly decorated and furnished. Large bay windows open on to the terrace and spacious sloping garden. Just a five-minute drive leads to the heart of Montignac, where there is a choice of riverside restaurants to enjoy, as well as fishing and canoeing on the River Vézère. A little further is the lake at Fossemagne with its sandy beach, and the golf course at Brive.

Inside

Hortense has a large living room with bay windows opening on to terrace. Dining area and partly separated fitted kitchen. Utility room. Separate WC. Four bedrooms: One kingsize, one double, one twin and one large open space with a smaller double bed. This open space also has a desk to work on. Bathroom with large corner bath with jets and separate shower cubicle.

4km from Le Lardin (shops, cafés, restaurants, tennis), 6km N of Montignac (restaurants, caves, River Vézère, fishing, canoes), 26km SW of Brive (golf, large town, shopping), 20km S of Fossemagne (lake, beach), 30km N of Sarlat (old city, markets, music festivals), 34km from Eyrignac (gardens).
