This holiday home is light-filled and private, the north-facing indoor and outdoor living areas are connected by large sliding double-glazed doors, offering luscious garden views, perfect for sitting back and watching the children play in the tree-house, swings or jumping on the trampoline. Take advantage of the rustic yet serene hot/cold outdoor shower, the ideal way to finish off your day at the beach. Relax in the comfy chairs on the front porch after a hot day and watch the cool change come through.
Jack's Shack is ideally set up for young families, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, main with large bathtub, zoned to potentially allow two families to enjoy time away together.
Boasting 3 livings areas- a large rumpus room for the kids and a separate sitting room for the adults, and an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, featuring high raked ceilings and timber floors will allow everyone to come together harmoniously.
Consciously air-con free, Jack's Shack preferences ceiling fans installed in all livings areas and bedrooms allowing you to enjoy the warmth of the summer, while relishing the cooler, evening sea breezes. External window blinds help to keep the summer sun at bay during the hotter days. Electronic south facing high-ceiling windows in the main living area can be easily opened to allow for ventilation and sea breezes.
The beautiful garden is fully fenced, suitable and secure for small children and your family pets (please seek prior arrangements). The outdoor living area provides the ideal spot for entertaining, with hand made Adirondack timber chairs, dining table, and Weber BBQ.
Light the chimenea and enjoy a cooler summer night toasting marshmallows in the glow of the fire.
Jack's Shack offers guests x 4 bedrooms and x 2 bathrooms, x 2 WC and private outdoor hot and cold shower.

3rd - Single beds x 2
4th- Single bed x 1 (+ trundle bed if extra bed requested to cater for 8th guest)
All beds are supplied with fresh linen, lightweight quilts and pillows.
Main bathroom- double basins, large open shower and deep bathtub with separate toilet
Ensuite- shower, toilet and basin.
Both bathrooms supplied with towels, hand towel and bathmats (beach-towels not supplied).
Large family laundry with Meile front loading washing machine, Bosch dryer, ducted vacuum, iron and ironing board.
Kitchen- well equipped with all the usual utensils, crockery and glassware, pots and pans plus Meile dishwasher, sink with double basin, electric wall oven and gas hot plates, microwave, milkshake maker, sandwich press, blender and kitchen-aid, just in case you wish to bake a cake!
Jack's quiet location is just minutes from Ocean Grove's surf and main beaches, Barwon River, local supermarkets (Woolworths, Coles and Aldi) restaurants and cafes. Stroll to Ocean Grove's sporting precinct, which boasts the Aquatic Centre, gym, basketball courts, tennis courts, football fields, skate park and children's playground. Plenty of space to play on the oval, why not kick the footy, use the cricket nets or just let the dog (and kids) have a run. Just a short drive to the historic port town of Queenscliff, beautiful Point Lonsdale, and all of the Bellarine's many renowned wineries. Let's not forget the famous Geelong Adventure Park - great for the kids, loads of fun and just a 5 minute drive away.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.
You must comply with all applicable house rules for the property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the property and our neighbours.
You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of property during your stay. We ask that you notify us of this immediately.
Only the guests agreed to in the booking may stay in the property overnight.
Before departure, all perishable food must be removed from fridges and all rubbish put in the rubbish bins provided please.
Crockery and cutlery must be washed and packed away. The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Please load and run dishwasher on final day as necessary.
Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for the cleaning of dirty dishes, washing machine, dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish, cleaning the BBQ etc. Should the cleaning fee be more than the usual cost for cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs over and above the normal cleaning fee, which will be deducted from the security bond or charged to your credit card.
We ask that all furniture and furnishings be left in the position they were in when you arrived.
The property should be vacated on time and secured. All doors are to be locked. All keys must be returned at the end of your stay.
You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys. Duplicate keys in the event of losing the keys will be provided at an additional charge of $100.
SMOKING IS STRICKLY NOT ALLOWED IN THE HOUSE.
PETS WELCOME BUT PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THEM IN THE CARPETED ROOMS.
NO PETS PERMITTED IN BEDS.
