South Shore Villa is a custom built luxury villa, high on top of a mountain overlooking the blue waters of the Caribbean and pristine green forests of the National Park. With spectacular views and breezes this is the ultimate private getaway location. South Shore Villa is secluded yet only a 15 minute drive to Cruz Bay.
Located adjacent to the US Virgin Island's National Park boundaries and perched high a top a mountain overlooking the azure waters of the Caribbean, the South Shore Villa is the ultimate in private luxury vacation living.
The South Shore Villa is centrally air-conditioned and features four well-appointed bedrooms (all with private bathrooms), a luxurious custom kitchen with restaurant quality stainless steel appliances, a dining room, and a large living room all with panoramic views of the ocean.
Of additional interest is the spectacular infinity edge swimming pool with fountains, a large travertine patio, covered veranda, and a stainless steel barbeque for entertaining.

The island of St John and the South Shore Villa is a magical place where you can enjoy your days sitting around the pool, snorkeling at the beach, or hiking in the National Park and your nights viewing the stars while surrounded by the fragrances of jasmine and orchids.

The price is based on the number of people who occupy the property. Nightly rate is based on a 1-4 occupancy. Each additional guest above 4 is charged a per person per nights fee. Please enter the correct TOTAL number of guests including children when booking the property. Only paying guests are allowed on the property.

A really exceptional palatial villa!
This place is just as incredible as it looks! The property is immaculate and well provisioned, everything is comfortable and beautiful and the view is so grand you may end up spending more time here than you expect. We spent hours at the pool’s edge, just watching the clouds pass by between St. John and St Croix. This is definitely for those who like getting a ways out of town and seeing the forest from the trees! Our thanks to Eric for being so responsive and helpful! South Shore Villa is a dream!

Bullet points of perfection! Responsive owners for worry free planning. Perfect location, far away from the hustle but close enough to beaches, Cruz and Coral Bays, and middle island for easy access. Villa living spaces are so comfortable inside and out. The pictures are spot on. Beach bags with towels prepped and ready as well as a care package from a local deli that was on point. Everything you need for island fun is there. The views are unreal! Morning, noon and night they strike all your senses. Amazing sunrises with abundant wildlife, always quiet and peaceful. The bay and mountain views filled my photo app. The times spent enjoying the outdoor living, pool lounging, inside relaxing, and cooking dinners with friends were amazing. We are ready to share our experience with friends!

St John’s Best!
Four of us stayed 6 days in absolute Paradise! South Shore Villa is the perfect place to vacation. You would never need to leave the property! The views are incredible, the house is unique and designed to give everyone space and luxury. The welcome and management are over the top and the house was well equipped for all our needs. Fantastic all around!
This villa was sensational, great view, nice location close to town. The climb up to the villa is a bit intense for the novice as it’s way way up. My wife fell on the first day of our trip and fractured her hip. Fortunately this villa had very few steps to enter it which was a blessing. What a fantastic spot to recover, spent two weeks enjoying the view and the nice cool breeze. Our property manager was super responsive and so helpful with all our needs. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfection
The view of the villa is almost as perfect as the view from the villa. Pros: This is our 4th stay on island and by far the nicest villa. It is solid and perfectly designed with a mix of brick and stone, beautiful archways and seating areas at every turn, all adorned with palm trees and beautiful landscapes. The decorating is exactly on point and every room has its own tropical flare. Everything you need has already been thought of. From books and games, beach bags with towels, and a fully stocked kitchen, they seemed to know what we'd want before we did. Cons: The villa is so perfect it's hard to leave to go explore the island. Such hard life choices.

Eric from the property management group was of great service on both the front and back end of our stay, going above and beyond. The house was awesome, views, rooms, pool, outdoor space all as advertised. Best equipped kitchen of a rental we've ever experienced. Great recommendation from property management on landlubber logistics to have the house provisioned prior to arrival. Would love to see this house come with a jeep, our rental fell through but we found plenty of work arounds to get us all over the island. Probably not ideal for small kids as all bedrooms are their own entity, but served our needs perfectly.

Has everything you need. Well stocked kitchen. Pool is wonderful. Bedrooms are big, beds comfortable. They have everything you need for a day at the beach. We spent mornings at the dinning room table relaxing , gorgeous views from every location. Afternoons in the pool. Just a wonderful wonderful location.

Perfection!
There were seven of us, all adults, and we have stayed in several villas before on Saint John and this is by far the best one. Everything about the villa was just as described. The views were incredible. Even though the drive to and from town is about 15 minutes and the roads are typical for Saint John (narrow, mountainous and serpentine), you get used to it after a few trips and the villa and location is well worth the ride. The villa was clean and well stocked and has everything you will need including coolers and beach chairs. The furniture is clean, comfortable and high quality. There were plenty of glasses and silverware. I can't think of anything that was missing. The pool is spectacular. The bedrooms and bathrooms and showers were big and comfortable and clean. I only have one minor complaint....the door handle on one of the doors from the living room going out to the porch was missing a screw and kept falling off. Other than that, this villa was perfect!

Beautiful South Shore Villa
A gorgeous villa with amazing views. Loved the spacious air conditioned living room. So comfortable! Great pool and we loved the outside showers. All bedrooms were super comfortable and nicely decorated. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to cook dinner. Nice sound system throughout so you can listen to your music while swimming or cooking. Over all great place, and I have to say this property manager is top notch. I’ve stayed in another villa that he manages and both stays were my best on the island.

This house was awesome! Amazing views of the Caribbean. Is really close to the National Park, and high up to give a feeling of being alone. The pool was great for the kids and there always was some spot of shade. Great breeze on the patio. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Views
The house is awesome. It was perfect for 4 friends (or 4 couples) as each bedroom is actually like a private suite. We spent most of our time on the top patio overlooking the world. Perfect spot for drinks and conversations. The pool is lovely too look at but definitely chilly as it was in the shade a lot of the day. The outdoor showers are really nice. The kitchen is great and bedding was nice. The drive is the only negative. It's a slow-go as it's very steep and windy with lots of switchbacks. It was stressful for our group and we opted to hire a taxi when we planned to be out after dark.

This beautiful home is exquisite. I loved how all of the bedrooms were like individual Casitas. The outdoor shower was so much fun. The sunrise every morning with my coffee on the porch, and the welcome basket was our first night's dinner. Thank you and we hope to return.

This was the most beautiful property I have ever stayed at. Although difficult to get to (top of the mountain), the views and accommodations made it entirely worth the drive!!!
