Located on 2500 acres of tropical paradise, plus a newly opened theme park, here's why people and families travel from all over the world to spend their vacation here:
BEACHES: The Vidanta resort in Nuevo Vallarta is nestled along Banderas Bay, one of the largest bays in Mexico. A stunning view of both the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Madre mountains with the opportunity to explore both make this area of Mexico one of the most enchanting places to stay. Walk, swim, play volleyball, or just lounge under a palapa at the beach that extends nearly a mile along the entire reach of the property. Breathtaking sunsets!
POOLS: This Vidanta resort boasts multiple beautifully designed pool areas throughout the property, including an aquapark with a waterslide, wave pool, and lazy river. Depending on your mood and the ages of your guests, your day may include time at the Grand Mayan pool with a more active crowd or finding a quieter pool experience at the sandy point along the beachside Puenta pool. And just for the kids, a fully staffed Kids Club with kiddie splash area and activities building gives the little ones in your group their own kind of fun (babysitting service is also available here).
ACTIVITIES: A full menu of activities scattered throughout the resort means there is something for everyone at all times during the day. Water aerobics, morning stretching, botanical tour, bingo, poker, horseshoes, sand and pool volleyball, sand soccer, Spanish lessons, dancing and cooking classes, arts and crafts … and more … are all free, with the option for paddle boarding, parasailing, and water sports rentals.
FINE AND CASUAL DINING: From gourmet restaurants headed by professional chefs serving Mexican, French, Italian, and Asian cuisine to the multiple poolside and other eateries around the resort, going off-site may be hardly a consideration with almost 40 restaurants and lounges to explore. Vidanta works hard to assure fresh ingredients and a delectable menu no matter the location, so a simple taco for lunch at Samba can be just as delicious as dinner on the rooftop Quinto restaurant. Should you choose to venture out, nearby restaurants offer a wide choice of menus varying from Argentinian beef to local seafood.
GOLF: The Nayar Course and the Norman Signature Course, plus the new 10-hole, par 3 The Lakes Course, make it a premier opportunity for the avid or casual golfer. The golf environment includes a beautiful new restaurant and the longest golf cart suspension bridge in the world. Up to 16 rounds of golf on the Nayar course are included in your stay.
SPA: Spatium, the Luxxe-exclusive spa, is simply exquisite. Tucked into the jungle, a majestic door leads into a circular lobby where an immense glass ceiling sculpture hangs strikingly over the reception desk. The staff is crisply groomed and professional, the attendants, aestheticians, and therapists are welcoming and skilled. Services include an extensive menu of massage, body wraps, and salon options. In addition to spa services is the option to use the facility daily for self-treatment. Spatium hosts a hot pool, cold pool, steam sauna, dry sauna, and lounge chairs for both the men-only/women-only areas as well as a large hot pool and relaxation area for both.
ENTERTAINMENT: With the days an immersion into tropical paradise, the nights offer a variety of entertainment options. Santuario, in the heart of the resort, is an impressive 75,000-square-foot, indoor-outdoor entertainment pavilion that features a nightly lineup of acts for the whole family, including acrobatics, dance performances, musical acts, sand artists, and more. More nightly entertainment options include The Lake Show - lights, fountains, music, special effects - held nightly 30 minutes after sunset, weekly theme nights featuring dancing, singing, and food from the Mexican culture, family movie night, and live music from varying musicians and styles at restaurants and lounges throughout the resort.
MARKET: A beautiful flagship building with an expansive outdoor patio overlooking the lake! The first floor hosts an exquisite display of French chocolates, candies, pastries, and other one-of-a-kind desserts! And that's just one section of this unique shopping venue. Three floors of fresh foods, clothing, Mexican wares, a French restaurant with an ocean view, and other smaller eateries make the market a fun place to visit often during your stay.
GYM: The gym is in the style of all-things-Luxxe, superbly designed, excellent staff, and state-of-the-art equipment. Within the gym complex are two cardio rooms with a variety of cardio options, a weight room with a wide selection of machines and free weights, a spinning room, and a spacious yoga/exercise class/stretching room.
YOUR VILLA: If you like Italian marble, floor to ceiling windows, oversize melt-to-your-body king beds, jacuzzi tubs, gourmet kitchens and lavishly inviting living rooms, two and a half bathrooms, spacious fully furnished balconies with a private plunge pool, then this 3000 sq. ft. piece of personal heaven is for you. Your room is carefully tended to by the same sweet maids each day. Coffee and tea are served in your floor's lobby area each morning, and a fine chocolate on your pillow will end your day that evening. Internet is included. With sleeper sofas for larger groups, your 2-bedroom unit sleeps up to 8 people: 1-bedroom unit up to 6.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations are for a 7 day stay/1 week stay and can start on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Children are 12 and under. Living rooms include sleeper sofas to accommodate maximum number of guests per room. Because the resort books quickly, booking at least 6 months out or earlier can help guarantee the dates you wish to travel. Availability from January through March is very tight, so reservations for this period should be made as far in advance as possible. Reservation dates can be modified up to 30 days prior to check in. Less than a 30-day notice cannot be modified albeit for medical emergency.
Please contact us with your desired dates and availability can be quickly determined. Vidanta is happy to note room requests and does its best to accommodate as is logistically possible; room assignments are made and dependent on availability at the resort at the time of check-in. Vidanta realizes not all views can be ocean and does work hard to make sure the resort is beautiful from all angles. Our experience has been that views of the golf course, river, jungle, mountains, and downtown are all spectacular.
Payment at the resort is cashless; you may use your credit card or register your credit card at check in to get set up for a signature-only payment system.
A small municipal tax of around $7 (depending on the value of the pesos to dollar) is charged each day.
Restaurant prices are comparable to most popular eateries in the U.S. Meal packages may purchased that include six breakfasts/ lunch and six dinners for a discounted cost.
Because this is a membership resort, an offer to attend an informational (sales) meeting that includes a free breakfast, discounts on tours and resort activities, and 10% off food and beverage at check-out is presented at check in. It is optional and there is no obligation to attend.
Promotional pricing does not apply to holiday period bookings.
We are very familiar with the resort and will do everything we can to help facilitate your stay. Please let us know if there are any questions we can answer about the resort or any aspect of your stay at the Grand Luxxe.
ABOUT US: We have been Grand Luxxe members since 2008. We travel to Vidanta resorts each winter - and some years more often. It has become a family tradition that will remain so into the next generation. Our experience has been that what the Vidanta developers envision not only meets but exceeds expectations.
Grand Luxxe units are also available at the Vidanta resorts of Riviera Maya and under development at Los Cabos. Riviera Maya offers a new luxury waterpark, Jungula, and a Cirque de Soleil entertainment complex with nightly shows. Please ask us about those options as well should they fall into your desired travel plans.
