Charming 1-bedroom Hilltop King Suite

Beautifully appointed private guest room with own entrance.
Watch the sunset from your room or the patio. Fall asleep to the sound of the frogs and birds and enjoy the bright star lit sky. Two guest suites in the owners home on an acreage with beautiful wild flowers, ponds and fruit trees around the property.

Two guest suites can adjoin if both are booked together with a private hallway between them. Both have ensuite with heated floors.

Coffee & tea provided and mini fridge for guest use. Pack and play/crib and kids toys and books available on request.

We have 2 young children and live above the guest suites so you may hear us during your stay but we make every effort to keep the kids as quiet as we can. You are welcome to walk around the property and explore the garden where you may run into us playing in the yard or working in the garden. If you prefer your privacy, the guest suites have their own private patio.

We will send you a detailed message with check-in instructions on the day of your arrival as soon as your suite is ready. We will do our utmost best to check you in as early as possible.

Our home is perched high on a ridge and our driveway is more like a winding uphill road. An easy drive but a significant uphill walk or bike ride if you are considering coming without a vehicle.

We are committed to your health and safety during your stay and when you arrive you can expect everything to have been cleaned and sanitised. If there is anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable - please let us know. Windows and doors are operable and we encourage you to come experience the fresh air on Bowen Island.

Quiet & secluded
A lovely room but could be easily improved. It would be friendlier to have a phone conversation with the host. I would also suggest you test the electrical outlets and appliances. I found it impossible to boil water in the kettle despite rearranging plugs, cords etc. The weather was warm during our stay and the room became rather stuffy. More screens for windows and a fan would help in the absence of a/c. Finally, at the room rate, I would suggest high quality bath products, maybe local brands. At a minimum, a fresh bar of soap and hair conditioner should be included. The

It was what we needed, very near the friends we were visiting. Black out blinds would have been nice as venetians were broken and we couldn’t control the daylight penetration.

Was a beautiful home once.
Must be a second owner. The 1st owner went to extreme to do a beautiful garden and landscape, now nature is taking it back. Manager made big mistake and misinformed us about home amenities, was disappointed there as well

Relaxing
Lovely little private room with en suite. Comfortable bed, a mini fridge for snacks, coffee maker, kettle, TV with streaming services. Care and thought was put into this - it’s not just someone’s basement. Just as lovely as a 4 star hotel room with gorgeous windows that give you a view of the surrounding forests. Quiet and enjoyable, very clean. Hosts were conscientious.
