We have stayed here several times, but this time it was really dirty. The sink had a bad smell, so I had to clean it myself. And it needed a good sweep and mop, very dirty around the base boards. Other than that, we love the cottages and the area.

As you can see from previous reviews, we've stayed at this property many, many times over the years, and while updates are needed, we keep returning because we love the houses so much for their privacy, peace-and-quiet and the added space (two bedrooms and kitchen) they're just so cute! Typically, the staff will accommodate special requests (early check-in, if the until is available and/or a late check-out) etc. Location is perfect in relation to town and SDC! Please note, this is a time share property and when you get your parking pass you will be asked to attend a presentation with a "gift" for your time (show tickets etc). We've attended the presentation, and it isn't for us, but they won't hassle you if you say you aren't interested in attending, and because they don't (hassle you), we'll be back next year!

The cottages at Stormy Point are a hidden gem! It was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and would be great for longer stays too. The staff are friendly and helpful and checking in/out was very easy. The cottage design is open and provides plenty of room for hanging out or having time to yourself. We loved our stay here and will be back!

Parking and TVs get a Thumbs DOWN
The parking was not good- we had 2 vehicles, but there were no designated parking spots- the neighbors parked right in the middle so as to block the parking for the rest of their party. At one point we had to double park our 2 vehicles and stick out into the road,& we had someone in a wheelchair. If made it very difficult. I left 2 messages at the after hours voicemail because only one of the several TVs in the cottage had a remote and worked, so we were unable to watch tv in any room except one bedroom- nobody ever contacted me back or came to fix the issue

Over all the location was convenient. Unfortunately we experienced several disappointing problems. The hot water stopped working, our front door lock didn’t work properly and required repairing. Also when we arrived there were dirty dishes on the counter, probably just an oversight. We did like the spacious cottage and the onsite amenities.

Added $100 charge without explanation- we checked out 2 hours early to catch a tour in Branson, so not sure what happened. I see multiple reviews of how shady this timeshare is by owners-I am simply a renter. At check-in, the staff took the key card out of the woman’s hand after giving it to her saying actually your room is not ready. It was a little past check-in time. Her face was shocked. Mine was ready but needed dishwasher repaired. They ask you to start it before leaving and when I opened soap dispenser, there was a tab that was barely dissolved from the previous stay-meaning our dishes were not clean. When we grabbed them the plates had water pooled under the top ones in the stack. Clearly they do not have enough maid service to properly turn this place over for their high volume. Makes you wonder how they treat them or how bad they low ball staff. Crumbs were all over pull out couch. It’s extremely annoying that they send you to a timeshare salesman as part of your check in. Do yourself a favor and keep it super short and let them know from the get go you don’t have time nor are interested. So many horror stories from owners at this property and area in general!!
