This hotel was fantastic. Newly remodeled. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfy and can't beat the price. They do have mini fridges. If they had microwaves it would be even more great! Will be returning.

The staff at Sunset Inn were very friendly, and the stay was reasonably priced. The rooms are undergoing remodeling, though ours had not yet been updated. While the room was fairly clean, the beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable, making it feel like sleeping on the ground. Additionally, the AC did not cool the room effectively, leaving it uncomfortably warm throughout the night. Overall, it was a 7/10 stay, and we would consider coming back in the future.

Ok... not great or comfortable

Room was fairly clean, there was gum or candy residue on tile near sink & in bathroom. Could hear EVERYTHING from people above us (pacing/walking around/talking on phone), so very nousy for travelers getting in late & wanting to sleep immediately. Parking lot has narrow slots, so if others are not parked correctly, you have to park at far end, nowhere near your room. Did have a fair breakfast, that likely would have been better had we gotten there earlier (biscuits dry/hard by 9am, no batter left for waffles & no OJ left). The king bed was lumpy & hard, not very comfortable to sleep... both of us tossed/turned all night trying to get comfortable.

Central location to the main road and our favorite places. So quiet at night. Lighted well for late arrival. Elevator central to complex. Desk staff was so nice and helpful. Coffee pot did not want to work. Housekeeper got one for us immediately. Older facility but clean and neat with friendly staff. Good Experience.

Mostly good

This was just was we needed. A cheep place to stay after a day at Silver dollar city. The hotel is old and a bit run down but it was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable.

Will never stay there again!!! I wish I could submit pictures. Room was clean except for sofa in the room. It was old and all the cushions were stained on both sides! It is apparent they are doing some remodeling but it is sloppy. There were globs of tile glue on the floor tiles, the tub did not drain well, I was standing in 3 inches of water by the end of shower. Shower heads are low for those that are tall. The tub had weird peeling spots and needs replacing. Instead of caulking around tub they sloppy put tape to seal the seam of flooring and tub. And both of our keys did not work after one of our adventures. The office was locked. The sign on door said office open 7am-11pm. Luckily there was a phone number. So as I was outside the office in the cold I called the number. I figured someone would come out of a back room. Instead I had to wait in the cold for someone who was driving to the Inn. I was beyond mad!!!! I asked if this was normal and got no response from her. And this was a premium room.

I had a cockroach in my room on my night stand crawling. The gap under the door was so big that there is a breeze and you can see the cars. Thin walls and could hear noises in the conjoining room and above. Someone was moving furniture at midnight. The staff said ‘it’s like an apartment and I can’t help that’. But she was nice and apologetic. Some areas need to be redone. Bathroom looked rundown.

Good motel

This was a great place to stay for what we needed. Clean room/bathroom, breakfast provided, cookies at night, and easy check in/check out. Fairly easy to get to on the yellow route.

When we arrived the staff were smoking outside. When we got to our room it reeked of cigarette smoke. It was outdated and in need of a major remodel/paint job. Not very clean at all. Slept on top of the bed with our own blankets. Only provided 3 shower towels. Tv didn’t work in 1 room. The breakfast stunk the next morning when checking out, we didn’t even try it. Overall horrible and will not be coming back to this hotel.

There was a lack of furniture in the room. Picture shows chair with ottoman and table and chair. None of that was in the room but a table. The doors were a yellow/white color and everything looked like it needed a deep cleaning. The towels would not get you dry, and the beds were not very comfortable. We had to figure out how to get the tv direct tv box to work- kept saying no signal, but figured it out. Breakfast needed help also.

Great location and price. Staff is friendly. They have an elevator outside which was helpful. They do not have a microwave. I think Branson is getting away from microwaves in rooms. Breakfast was good.
