Had a great stay at the Savannah House. Clean rooms, very polite staff, reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good. It was great not having to get up in the cold and figure out where to get breakfast for our group of 6 . Special treat to come back to the hotel after being out all day in the cold to have hot chocolate, cookies and cobbler waiting for guests in the dining room. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
This was the second time we stayed at Savannah House and will be where we’ll stay whenever we’re in Branson! There’s not 1 thing I can complain about! Very comfortable rooms, free hot breakfast, dessert in the evening (cobbler) with ice cream! The ability to meet other guests. It’s all a very pleasant atmosphere that we enjoy greatly! As I said, we’ll be back!
We have been coming to Savannah House for 10 years and love the welcoming area. We also love that they have desserts and snacks in the evening when we return from our day out :)
The best part is the clean room and friendly staff!
This was our third time to stay at Savannah House. This is OUR place when we visit Branson. Can't say enough about the staff. They are always amazing, the facilities are always clean. This hotel is close to all the highlights Branson has to offer, but far enough away from all of the congestion the strip can have. The only thing I would change about our visit was that our room was right across from the hospitality area. Kind of loud later at night and early in the morning. I will just simply request a room away from this the next time. But no doubt we will be back!!
I took a long time to choose a hotel for a family trip and picked Savannah House from all the great reviews. The lady at the front desk was friendly and check-in was easy. As we walked down the hall to our room, both my children asked why it smelled so bad and what the smell was. I told them it smelled like wet dog. Got to our room and it was ok but smelled bad. Sat down and turned the tv on, one of my daughters went to the bathroom and said there was mold on the ceiling. I didn't think too much of it - I don't expect perfection from a hotel room - but it wasn't long before I had a headache, one daughter was nauseous, and the other had a headache as well. Decided I should check out this mold situation. It was all over the bathroom ceiling. Because of how we felt, I went to the front desk to ask for another room. On my way I noticed a dehumidifier plugged in and running. Turns out they had serious water damage the week before from the sprinkler system going off and that's why it smelled bad and was moldy. They offered another room but since it was the entire building I said I was concerned for our health. They have a second building that was not affected and thankfully offered a room there, which I accepted. The room there was fine.
I think water and mold are serious issues and they should have told people about it - that was hundreds of people sleeping in what could be an unsafe, at least unhealthy, environment.
I always love staying here. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel like you are at home. It is also very quiet, nestled on the hilltop with a pretty view of the town. The breakfast is wonderful as well and there is always plenty of it!
The Savannah House was wonderful it was clean has a wonderful breakfast and the cobbler and ice cream at night was a great bonus.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful went above and beyond for us.
The View was Unique and All you care to eat Desert bar with old fashioned ice cream.
The staff from the front desk, to the breakfast and evening dessert bar were Very hospitable.
Very nice hotel, it's clean and the beds are comfortable. We lije it because it's in a quiet area. The breakfast has a good variety to choose from. They have fabulous desserts at night.
The overall stay was just ok. Walls were a little thin. Breakfast was good. However when we got home we realized one of the beds had bed bugs. Two people had bites all over them. Called a few days later to let them know and he asked if I had already called because he said someone was up there now cleaning the room. So the people who stayed after us must have reported it as well. I should have reported it quicker so they wouldn’t have to go through same thing. No offer of refund, just a thank you for reporting it. Hopefully they were really taking care of it.
