State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.

Relax and stargaze around a firepit, or watch an amazing sunrise. The 125-acre is a working deer farm. Please only book our property if you love and respect animals as we do. A tour of the farm can be provided as available. No animals will be on the property until March 2022.

The Grand Slam Lodge is located 7 miles from Logan. The nearby State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Guests staying at the property can also visit Athens and Ohio University or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. Lake Logan and Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends at either lake.
