The room was OK. The beds were not that comfortable. The shower has absolutely no water pressure. There is no bathtub. It was cheaper than the other hotels around and I only needed a room for one night. They have free breakfast but the food is bland and there are no biscuits. No vending machine for drinks. Drinks are two dollars a can sold by the hotel. No vending machine for snacks they had a few snacks that were way overpriced.

Not bad for the price
Not too far from downtown. Free breakfast if you like that kind of thing. Good condition. Doesn’t have an elevator but the stairs aren’t too bad. Front desk made check in easy and quick!

The front desk staff was fantastic. They were the only positive feature of the hotel. The room was fine, nothing special, not terrible. The breakfast wasn't good at all and not well stocked. My daughter and I got there at 8am the 1st morning and they weren't restocking anything. The eggs were overcooked and the coffee wasn't palatable. We stayed three nights and housekeeping did not clean our room AT ALL! The 2nd morning, they knocked and I asked if they could come back a little later. We left not long after and they were next door cleaning. They had a Chihuahua puppy running arnd, which we stopped to pet and they were laughing along with us, so definitely saw us leaving, plus I hung the sign on the outside doorknob, asking for our room to be cleaned. Nothing. We went outside to the pool one evening and it was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom and upon further inspection, every corner was FILLED with bugs. It was disgusting. We went back to our room.

Our experience at the best western bayou Inn was neither positive nor negative. The night shift workers were not very talkative and would simply gaze at you while attending to phone calls. However, the chef was always friendly and greeted everyone with a pleasant "good morning." Moreover, the food she prepared was absolutely delicious. I would like to give a special shout out to the chef and also to the gentleman at the front desk who assisted us on May 10th at around 4 p.m. Their efforts truly enhanced our stay. Thanks.
