This is great for a stop over. Side of a main road so expect a little noise. Room clean but normal things like carpet and decor is a little worn.

Big bed big room clean but no hot water in the shower it was freezing cold evening and it the morning otherwise and nice place staff was great and very friendly
I was swapped for a ground floor disabled room, as I have difficulty walking, which was great, so kudos. However, the room was dusty, carpet had marks all over it and the bathroom had mouldy grouting. However, the staff were absolutely brilliant, super helpful and couldn't do more for their guests. I would recommend staying there just for the service they provide.

Nice enough hotel and the staff were all great. The restaurant closes at 9pm, which can be an issue if you are late travelling. The rooms are clean and tidy, but could do with upgrading to meet modern expectations. I will stay again though.
Lovely place to stay, very clean and the staff are amazing. There is a great selection of food and drink and the rooms are very cosy. We stay here regularly if we are in the area and recommend to anyone who likes a nice relaxed time.
Good size room but not well insulated as i had to listen to the tv from room 12 until midnight and then again at 7 in the morning. Bathroom was freezing as the towel rail didn't work.
