Access to the apartment is on a peaceful back road with a small enclosed outdoor seating area, which is shared with the neighbouring Buttercup Apartment. Stairs lead up to a private second floor entrance, and the hallway branches off to all of the rooms. The living/dining area has a sofa in front of the Smart TV, where you can unwind in the evening, as well as a dining table where you can enjoy a home cooked meal or takeaway, including traditional fish and chips. The separate kitchen is modern and compact. The bedroom boasts a kingsize bed with an en-suite walk-in shower.
Bridlington is an historic coastal town and has been a popular tourist destination for generations. The beaches are glorious, both are big with golden sand stretching for miles. The north Bay is quieter, whereas the south bay boasts an array of attractions including the promenade, arcades and many bars, cafés and restaurants.
Nearby you can explore more of the incredible coastline including Flamborough, with its dramatic white cliffs, as well as an iconic lighthouse. Bempton, which attracts thousands of sea birds each year, has become a nature reserve where you can see nesting puffins and gannets, as well as the occasional seal in the sea below. The glorious golden beach at Filey stretches for over 5 miles, which is a joy to visit. In Scarborough, apart from beaches, you can find an open-air theatre, the Sea Life Centre and the oriental gardens with paddle boats at Peasholm Park, as well as Alpamare Water Park and Spa.
History lovers can visit the nearby stately homes of Sewerby Hall and gardens, Burton Agnes and Castle Howard. For a day out, the medieval walled city of York is only an hour away with its charming, cobbled streets and a fascinating history. This is a great destination throughout all of the seasons.
