We are a young family with four small children, and Bribie Island is our absolute favorite beach destination. You’ll often find us at Woorim Beach, taking advantage of the 4WD beach access – if you have a 4WD, we highly recommend getting a permit!

Since we understand what families need, we’ve designed this holiday home to be family-friendly, comfortable, and well-equipped for a stress-free stay.

Property was comfortable but in need of updating. Generally clean but areas of house were very dusty. Many doors broken and main bedroom cupboards were difficult to open. Some curtains torn and carpets stained. Property was secure for the dogs. House backed onto a busy street so there was a lot of traffic noise. Kitchen offered everything you would need for a short stay. Bedrooms and lounge a great size for the whole family. Aircon worked well. Was walkable to shops and beach area and lots of areas to walk dogs.

The property was close to shops and friends and church. A short walk to the beach. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The yard was big enough for our dog the run around in and the outdoor seating area was comfortable. Washing machine and dryer made washing easy. Furniture was modern and suited the property.

Filthy and overpriced
Should I start with the ensuite bathroom that was littered with dead ants? Or the floor coverings in the dining room that were caked in dirt? Perhaps the cups in the bathroom with someone's toothpaste slobber all over it. The smell was rancid and when we tried to open the windows - we found torn (or no) insect screens. Dodgy home jobs in electric fittings made it unsafe and uncomfortable. Would have been fine for half the price ... but to be charged an exorbitant cleaning fee for such appalling standards was salt in the wound. The property certainly has potential - but is far from fulfilled and needs some serious TLC.

Plenty of room, but some flaws
The property has a fan in the dedicated children's room with access to a bunk that is potentially dangerous. And there were quite a few cockroaches hatching in the kitchen around the sink every night, I am sure a spray through would deal with that. The kingsize bed was very comfy, and the backyard lovely for the dogs. the traffic was loud from behind though and the light from the highway bright for those in the back bedroom, even with the blockout blinds provided. On the whole the property was clean, well set up, and in a good street, some small repairs to windows etc. needed. We all enjoyed our time together but our stay was better for some more than others of our extended family.

Glad we had transport as situated on a housing estate. Wifi had been changed by previous people and we had permission to change it back otherwise we could not get connected. The net curtains had a tear from previous people and felt that should have been repaired before our arrival. The place is ideal if you have dogs and all amenities were in place for our needs.

Ideal for a great scrapbooking weekend.
We had a good weekend scrapbooking despite the main shower not working, we booked the house as it had two bathrooms to make it easier. There is a rodent problem as as there were rodent droppings around the rubbish bin in the laundry and on the kitchen bench with bananas and biscuit eaten. There was balls of hair in the bath tub and around the legs of the lounge chair, some slats on the double decker bed are broken and the kitchen light flickers

Spending the two weeks at the property was wonderful. Wonderful location and everything you need is around the corner and touring areas either on the Island itself or at least an hour away - makes for good sightseeing!
