Ok, not terrible.
An average stay, not great not terrible. Location is only really good for going to the shopping centre across the road and the use of the adjacent carpark, otherwise it would be better to stay over the other side of the city centre. Rooms were ok, a bit tired, as was the bed linen. Under the beds looked like they haven't been hoovered in about a decade. No fridge in the room. Staff were friendly, breakfast wasn't bad too.

Another good stay.
Very clean room. No bath or fridge. Well appointed otherwise. Staff were lovely. Single bed mattresses are a bit lumpy/lopsided. Big bed was great. Overall a nice stay, we always stay here :-).

Comfortable city break
Pleasant room (given free upgrade as we wanted a bath rather than shower) room was spacious and very comfortable. Lady at reception very helpful at check in. Convenient location for most sightseeing. Free car parking was an absolute bonus.

The location of this hotel is great and I've stayed here many times over the years. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms themselves are clean and a good size. What lets the hotel down is that it is so tired. The beds are so old and lumpy and they sag meaning you have a rather uncomfortable nights sleep. The air conditioning appears to be controlled centrally too and the room was so hot overnight. Such a shame this hotel hasn't been invested in/upgraded as it used to be fantastic.
