Beautiful location, a very well-maintained building with cherished history. Facilities renovated and in good modernized condition. Very good food. Very nice area around the property (you can spend time on an adjacent lawn or go for a long walk in a forest and field just on the other side of the road. Great long-weekend stay, highly recommended

The hotel was in a good situation and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was a very high standard and we enjoyed some very good breakfasts and a very nice evening meal. It was a characterful hotel and we were very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Lovely quiet location and staff very helpful. However some of the fixtures are looking a bit worn and a coat of paint wouldn't go amiss. Food in the restaurant was excellent, although very expensive and gluten free option are very limited

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel, the food in the restaurant was amazing and the complimentary upgraded room was perfect. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a very relaxed vibe. Brockenhurst is very easily accessed on foot from the hotel and its a lovely little village to explore and stop for food/coffee after exploring the local walks opposite the hotel.

This is a country style hotel and the lobby and restaurants areas really feel like that. But the room was really modern and spacious. Really comfortable stay. Ideal for families as the kids had their own room section and the was even a living room area. There is a great walk right outside the hotel through grassland and forest and less than 10 min walk to the village centre. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great for a romantic break
A really lovely hotel and the deluxe suite is ideal for a couples getaway. Everything was up to the standard expected only a few smalll issues that the rooms coffee, tea. They were not stocked.for two people, but the receptionist was extremely helpful in bringing up what was needed. Also there was a lot of movement in the corridors at night. The cooked breakfast was delicious but minimal in its portions.. Aside such trivial things the staff and accommodations were perfectly charming
