Great rooms don't make up for major issues
This is my second, and probably last time staying at a Country Inn. I will preference this by saying that the one bedroom suite is amazing and comfortable and clean. If that's all I was reviewing it would be 5 stars. However, the other issues with the stays overrode the roms. Both stays I've found the desk staff less than welcoming, often even surly. As a former hotel clerk I'm usually pretty forgiving, but both in Plymouth and in Brooklyn Center I've found the staff quite unfriendly. Likewise, say both locations the spa has been broken, which was really unfortunate as it was my main reason for booking with them (recovering from a back injury). I even called ahead 2 days earlier this time to ensure it was working, and would have cancelled the booking if I'd been told it wasn't. Whereas my stay in Plymouth included a pulled fire alarm and nearly an hour standing outside in the rain, this time people were running up and down the hallways (literally causing things in my room to shake) very loudly, blaring tvs, and arguing loudly. I was wearing noise cancelling headphones and even that didn't help. I finally called down to ask the desk to help, and while they were surly about it, I give them credit for finally quieting the place down. I will be looking elsewhere for my next trip.

Great stay. Poole were not.
It was great for the night we were there. My husband and I were excited for the hot tub to relax in but could only stay in there for 10 minutes because our eyes were watering with the amount of chlorine in the pools. That was a little disappointing.

There was blood all over my room. The sink and bathtub were disgusting. There was garbage all over the parking lot and the entry way to the hotel smelled strongly of weed.
