The property is a country getaway nestled on 22 acres, perfect for your private gathering or special event. Friend groups, families and corporate retreats will find our location to be the perfect set-up for all kinds of festivities and a relaxing sanctuary from everyday life. Rustic Manor & Starry Nite accommodates 18+ Guests and all three dwellings are single-story homes which allows every age group to enjoy the entire property with ease and comfort.
The Rustic Manor (Main House): The main house has 4 bedrooms/3.5 baths and has one king bed, two queen beds and a bunk bed with two full size beds. The heart of the home features a ranch-style kitchen with an island and bar seating which opens into the living and dining areas giving a spacious and open feel. Entertain and socialize with ease throughout your stay in the versatile and comfortable space. Plantation shutters throughout allow in an abundance of natural light, complimented by double French doors leading to the outdoor pool area. The over-sized utility room with laundry, folding table, hanging rod, large basin sink, and ample custom cabinetry, provides our guests with convenient storage, helping larger groups with efficiency and organization during their stay. This bonus room also has a half bath and private door to the pool area, which enables pool users to keep water in its designated place and out of the main house.
There's no doubt that Western films, with their tales of fearless cowboys, horseback riding and homes on the range, have romanticized the classically American way of life—and for good reason. When designing Rustic Manor, we drew inspiration from the work of local artisan Gray Moore, Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s photographer, and creator of some of the most iconic imagery ever captured. As the Creative and Special Projects Director with the Harris County Houston Sports Authority, Gray has been given the freedom and support to focus and explore new venues of creativity. Gray’s passion elevates ranch life to a whole new level while blending old-fashioned country with the idyllic, laid-back cosmopolitan charm infused with farming and rancher-style touches.
The colossal primary bedroom is fitted with a large walk-in closet, king size bed, interior plantation shudders, 65” TV and an en-suite bathroom which is the ultimate his and hers set-up. Bathroom features include two separate sinks/vanities, shower/tub, a separate standing shower with his and her shower heads, a third rainfall shower head and a built-in sitting space where guests can relax after an active day.
The oversized secondary bedroom or in-law suite offers a large walk-in closet, interior plantation shudders, 50” TV and en-suite bathroom.
The third bedroom has a comfy queen size bed, plantation shudders and a large walk-in closet.
The bunk bedroom has 2 full size beds, 50” TV, interior plantation shudders and a small kid-sized desk for drawing or coloring.
The living room has two sleeper sofas (one full & one queen-size).
Keep the party going inside and out with a Sonos streaming dual zoned music system that can be run from your phone or tablet. Speakers cover the living/dining areas inside and the covered deck, pool, and hot tub areas outside.
Outdoors: Rustic Manor’s covered backyard patio is a focal point. While outside, the lounging area provides hours of enjoyment under the bright blue skies.
The backyard comes fully equipped with a cool/spray deck that surrounds the tanning ledge pool, freestanding hot tub, a variety of sitting, lounge and dining furniture, stainless steel propane gas grill, string lighting that extends the length of the patio, marble makeready bar or grill side table and fire-pit which is a great gathering place for storytelling, s’mores, and stargazing while soaking in the breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunsets. This area also overlooks the back pasture and pond which is home to a herd of tenacious Longhorns. These Texas icons are visual art with their flashy multihued hides and impressive headgear.
Starry Night (In-Law Suite): Just steps away from the pool connected by a flagstone pathway is Starry Night which is a rustic retreat that allows for additional housing and privacy between Guests. The freestanding dwelling is perfect for older kids, parents with a baby or family/friends who appreciate a separate space to retreat from the main house. Starry Nite has a full bathroom with tub/shower, 50” TV and sleeps 4, if utilizing the queen bed and a full-size sleeper sofa.
Buller Lodge (Facility/Event Venue): Perfect backdrop for all types of events, large and small. The countryside hideaway has indoor and outdoor options. In this genuine rustic, all-American setting, your Guests will experience a modern take on Western style while enjoying the country charm and comforts of Waller County Retreat.

Sound System: Buller Lodge’s sound system can be operated via WIFI, Bluetooth or from our iPad. Utilize the mounted projector and projector screen to showcase slideshows, videos, or training presentations. Clients also have the option of hiring a DJ/Band.
Restrooms: Buller Lodge's restrooms can be accessed from inside or outside the Facility. There are a total of 14 toilets/urinals in the five separate bathrooms.
