Very cluttered house
We booked for 5 nights check in with Dominique who lived opposite a friendly lady The house is in a quiet village no amenities parking convenient right outside the house is on a quiet street and pleasant enough but inside it was full of stuff every cupboard and shelf etc loads of plates cooking utensils big serving dishes I have never seen anything like it before there was no room for anything we had brought there was way too much furniture in living area not much room to sit not very comfortable at all bedroom ok all very clean but nowhere to put anything or really hang anything there was a wardrobe with hanging but too much room taken up with vacuum cushions etc just left everything in the bags it might suit some people for 1 or 2 nights but we could not make it work for our stay so we left after 1 night I think a clear out would make guests more comfortable

French Country Bungalow
This was perfect for 2 of us. The town is in the French countryside, a quiet and beautiful area. Grocery stores and restaurants are close, about 5km away. There are many champagne houses nearby, one is a short walk down the street.

Beautiful home in an idyllic setting
If you want to visit the champagne region of France and have easy access to lots of local small champagne houses for tastings, this property is perfect. The village is very small, but the property is within walking distance of 6 local champagne producers and a short drive from Suzanne, where there are excellent restaurants, a supermarket and a market. From our first contact with the owner, everything was made easy for us. The house was spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well equipped, we loved the log burner and there was an enclosed garden where we could sit out and our dogs were safe. There is ample parking directly outside the property. All the enquiries we made were answered very quickly, and when forgot a few items of clothing when we left, the owner got in touch with us immediately and arranged to post them back. I would love to go back and stay there again the future

The Perfect stay in champagne country
We loved our stay in our lovely house in Broyes. It was easy to get to everything and we truly had all the conveniences we needed. Dominique and Jean-Paul always responded to our questions before we came and also when we were at the house. A delightful week in such a beautiful place! We loved it and want to return to see our new friends! Thank you so much!

Quaint, cosy cottage
The photographs are accurate but cannot convey the feeling of this property: enchanting, spacious garden, super-equipped and exceptionally clean. The owners are lovely people who respond immediately to any request and are very helpful (e.g. taking us directly to the home of a champagne producer 100m away, Les Perles de Sarah). The village is delightful and well placed to reach all sorts of things - nature, history, champagne route, art, towns and cities. We'll be returning as soon as possible!

Lovely bijou gite, perfectly clean, plenty facilities, lots packed into a small space but easily big enough for 2. The private garden was a lovely hideaway for relaxing and sunbathing and the owner was really helpful. We hope to be back next year to spend more time exploring the area!

quiet peaceful village 5 minutes from the town of sezanne
the hosts were across the road from the appartment and were helpful without being intrusive, the house was good base to visit the various town and cities in the champage area. Sezanne has a number of resturaunts but it is quiet town with limited night life

Cozy and quaint apartment
It was a perfect place to stay, especially in the good weather when we spent the bulk of out time in the pretty back yard. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed comfortable. If it had been cold and rainy, the living/dining room/kitchen could have felt a tad tiny. The keys were left for us and the owner came by later to make sure we were comfortable. A small guide as to where to put the garbage and recycling would be helpful for future renters.

Lovely little house
Just right for two people. Well equipped, lovely sunny secluded back garden, comfy bed, good parking space at front. The wifi worked well, as did the fire once I'd worked out not to close the glass door completely, until the logs were burning properly. Dominique was very helpful and told us of lots of places to visit.

Lovely Stay in the Champagne Region
We really enjoyed our stay in Broyes. The apartment/cottage was lovely and the perfect size. The furnishings and decor were unique and made us feel that we were truly on holiday in France. The walled in backyard was perfect for our dogs and we also enjoyed dining at the patio set. The drive to the champagne houses in Épernay and Reims were easy and scenic. We also liked simple walks around the village. The views were very beautiful and the scenery nice. Thank you for your hospitality. And thank you for welcoming dogs into your holiday home!

Lovely authentic French house
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. It is pleasantly decorated to match it's grand old age. It is so good of Dominique to share her family heirlooms which makes it even more special. The kitchen has everything you need and is good quality (not the normal scratched teflon). It's warm with the central heating but made cosy with the log burner fire. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfy and the shower great - important things when you are on holidays 😊 The courtyard out back was perfect for our two dogs and is a lovely setting. There is history in the village if you want to wander and take it in, and you are very close to many other places to visit. We would highly recommend this gorgeous place to stay.
