There's great golfing all around and the Brunswick Executive Airport for flying lessons or tours can be had only two miles away.

Bath, Maine is a beautiful 10 minute drive away to the east where you can visit the Maine Maritime Museum, a Saturday farmers market, lovely downtown shopping, and access to lighthouses and Reid State Park / Popham Beach. There are also walking tours and boat tours on the Kennebec River.
To the west, three miles away is Bowdoin College and the town of Brunswick. The Joshua Chamberlain Museum and Harriet Beecher Stowe House are just a couple of the historic sites. There are walking trails along the Androscoggin River, a park with concerts every Wednesday during the summer, art shows, and a farmers market in the beautiful downtown park. Restaurants and stores along Maine Street could keep you occupied for hours.
