Would stay again
It's basic you get a bed and bath but that's all you need if you're out exploring all day. Great location and a good price. Bed was very comfy too.

Simple room with proximity to Brussel central station. Noisy in the night due to location, and also smells like a mix of food (I hope due to the room facing the backyard to many restaurants). No noise insulation, workers drilling for 1 hour at 9 in the morning across the hall. I was able to leave my luggage after check out.
While the location could not get any better, there is no elevator, making it difficult for accessibility reasons. Similarly, guests are required to drop off and pick up their keys every time they leave their room, which becomes difficult when the staff aren't at the desk, which happened to me. As a female solo traveler, I felt that the front desk staff (all male) were asking too many, and borderline inappropriate, questions.
The main good thing about this hotel are that it is located right in the heart of the Brussels city center. The hotel is surrounded by bars, shops, and busy streets making it convenient and walkable, but also noisy at night. The interior of the building is very ugly and damp/dirty. It is not a cozy or welcoming building. Staff was ok, not exceptional. They did, however store our luggage for free. I just wish that they reinvested their profits into upgrading the interiors. I also felt very uncomfortable that the door of my room did not have a manual lock like all other buildings do. The door is vulnerable to being opened by the hotel staff if they wish.
Very close to the grand place and lots sod restaurants

Our room was very clean and the location is excellent for tourists like us. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. We had no difficulty with leaving our key whenever we went out and picking it up on our return. The shower, etc. worked just fine. We were allowed to store our luggage for a couple hours after checking out. We plan to stay here again if we return to Brussels. Oh! And there’s good coffee right next door at Cliff’s.
The only thing I can complaint about it was the fact that it was extremely cold out and the one little heater had a hard time warming up the room. That being said, the hotel is well located and clean. Good price and friendly staff
This particular hotel should not be on Expedia. I have not canceled nor been disappointed on any hotel that i booked with this site. The picture is mis leading and the information is not completely transparent. Its says on the site “NO LIFT ON THE FASCILITY” but it did jot disclosed you have to climbed a steep stairs of more than 13 steps with a very tiny narrow landing being used as a reception. Then you have to climb another steep stairs to god where ever is your room. The place looks like a motel than a hotel. The guy on the front desk was very rude. I ask him how are we going to go up i have two seniors with me and 6 large luggages. That guy all he said well it says on our website no lift. No apologies or offer that i will take care of your stuff. I ended up cancelling my whole booking and he charged me for the first day of $123 euros. With 6 luggage’s and two seniors i have to run around the nearby hotel vicinity if there was any available room. I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE. AND PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS.
Avoid this hotel at all cost. It's a dumpster, no elevator, dirty blanket, and they want the key left at the front desk when you go out. Expedia this hotel shouldn't be in your list.
The location is GREAT! A few steps out the door and you're in the Palace. Tons of shopping and food options. Room was clean, with funny animal blankets. The building has a lot of stairs though.
