The hotel is set right in the heart of the old town, literally steps away from restaurants, bars and interesting sites. We usually choose small hotels as they have more character and we were not disappointed. The rooms are fully provided with everything you might need, including toiletries, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, mini fridge, dvd player etc. There are also dvds, games, etc to borrow if you wish. The fantastic continental breakfast is on the mezzanine floor of the cafe with views out onto the streets.
We had a 'Tourist bedroom', No 14, which are apparently smaller however it was more than big enough. There was no city view from the window, but the positive of this was that we heard none of the noise that other guests seem to have had problems with. Our room was above the reception and we had no noise whatsoever. I imagine that the larger rooms have a better view, and therefore are more prone to suffering from any noise.
The staff are very welcoming and polite and go out of their way to help with any enquiries. We will definitely book this lovely hotel again if we return to Bucharest.
