Enchanting gardens surround this family-friendly home, nestled on the Plateau below Mount Rainier between Bonney Lake and Buckley. This unique, artistically curated home boasts a stunning Mount Rainier view, visible from the back yard, upper patio deck, and through various windows in the home. You' ll find a fully outfitted kitchen fit for too many cooks, an extensive collection of games and books available to our guests, and both restrooms equipped with a luxurious bidet (cold tushies? not in this house). The luxurious extra touches in this home really do set our guests' experience apart from other vacation rental homes. This picturesque home is bursting with character, quirks, and charm. You'll find a piano, a large dining table surrounded by books and games, a TV room with a cozy propane stove for crisp days and nights, and plenty of lawn games to entertain the whole family.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms, each with one bed per room (one Queen, one Full, one Twin), and 'stargazing machines' in each room for the kids (adults, too, who are we kidding?). One bedroom has a small workspace for anyone in your group that might need a temporary office nook.
The second floor patio will quickly become your favorite part of the home. Between the view of Mount Rainier exploding in the back yard, and the sublime display of stars that grace our skies at night, it makes it difficult to go inside. Everyone else will be snug in their beds, but not you. You'll have slipped out to the patio with our really neat stargazing binoculars (are they giant binocs or tiny telescopes?) and a blanket and your partner in crime, spotting the summer constellations UP CLOSE.
The third floor holds four more beds, a (second)large table for games or dining, a sink and counter (makes for a perfect mini-bar area), as well as amenities for the young people (Games, TV, drawing & coloring supplies, etc.)
This house is the perfect place to gather your group this summer and visit Mount Rainier National Park! There are four park entrances within an hour drive of the home, and plenty of other activities nearby as well (The disc golf course is close by and so fun!).
