The hotel was close to public transport and very quiet. The rooms were clean and comfy but extremely hot, even with the radiators turned off.

It's not a modern hotel but if you're not expecting that then it's fine. Clean and functional. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly; bar staff not so much. No wi-fi in room. Good location with tram line just up the road, walking to centre was 20 mins. Easy and quick check in and out.

The attitude of staff - very rude bell boy - playing on his tablet and was almost bothered that we asked to call a taxi for us. The breakfast wasn’t so great , same stuff every day pretty boring and not many variety . We will not go back there again

Pretty big hotel, but things ran smoothly, and the staff was great. The breakfast was nice, albeit really crowded, everyday. The fitness facilities downstairs are excellent for a hotel. The beds were a little stiff. Overall I had a good stay. Danubius is within a couple minutes walking distance from a few tram lines and about a 5-7 min walk from M4 Móricz Zsigmond Körtér. Budapest's public transportation is extremely cheap and has very good coverage once you figure out the lines.

Not 4 star hotel
This is not a 4 star hotel. Needs really upgrade. Breakfast OK, but the same every morning. I came when it was raining and there were som leaves from the trees stuck om my suitcase that fell on the carpet in the room. That was not cleaned for the 4 days I stayed. Old hotel with bad smell in the room. Bathroom needs upgrade.
