A week or so before our stay we added a third nite, so this is for August 18-21. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!!! The first nite was in a standard room, nice bed, pillows could be fluffier, awesome bathroom, heated polished concrete floors. Carpet could have been vacuumed a little better. The next 2 nites we moved into our deluxe room, a bit bigger. The hotel is so quiet, the breakfast spread was excellent! Location was excellent, literally 2 minute walk to the Danube shore, great to watch the August 20th fireworks. Walking to the side street leads to the stairs to the Fishermans Bastion. The staff was 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, they were friendly and attentive. They even held our luggage after checkout, our train was leaving in the afternoon. Note: #19 trolly from Kelenföld train station will drop you off in front of hotel end of the street. No doubt, we will stay here agan! Köszönjük Szépen!

We had to request hpusekeeping emoty bins and refresh dirty cups and glasses twice. No complimentary water bottle was left in the room nor replemished when we did get one. Reception staff were helpful in resolving issues .

We had a great stay at the Monastery in Budapest. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were excellent, the breakfast was very good, it was very comfortable, clean and quiet.

Very nice room and tasty breakfast. I was able to check in early which was a huge relief because I arrived very early. Hotel is in a nice area and in walking distance to a lot of interesting places, restaurants and stores.

This hotel is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe. It’s affordable, the staff is amazing, rooms are beautiful, showers are hot with great water pressure, and you have an amazing breakfast. I will definitely be staying here any time I come back to Budapest.

My husband and I enjoyed staying here, you could walk or take the metro all over. The breakfast in the morning was great, the staff were really nice. I recommend staying here, you will enjoy it and the surrounding area.

After exploring the energetic Pest side of the river, we moved to this monestary turned hotel in a quiet but convenient part of Buda for a more romantic adventure (it actually has a room 007!). It is located half way between the Chain Bridge and Margaret Island, and directly below the views beautiful at Fisherman's Bastion. Vampire tours nearby. A great breakfast and thoughtful staff. Just remember to do your souvenir shopping before you cross the river to this side.

Botique hotel was very comfortable. A bit far from the main action, but it was a nice area with some good bars/restaurants nearby. It is close to Buda Castle. Breakfast was excellent. Some design flaws with shower mean the bathroom floor could get very wet. Great place if you want somewhere quiet with excellent service. If you want a more lively area, stay on the Pest side.

The room was very large but the bathroom was on one end, separated from the shower on the other end. And a bathtub was in the living area taking up about 60 sq. ft. It was very strange unless you like taking baths in front of people, while watching television. The hotel is a long walk to either bridge which take you to the shopping and dining parts of the city. Finally, there was a sound above our room that sounded like an airplane high above or wind coming through vents. Not real loud but it never went away.

Good spot but not right in the middle of city centre. Not much option is dinning late in the night except for hotel Returant. Good breakfast parking lot next to hotel which you have to pay per day. Overall nice stay and use public transport which is walking distance.
