The hotel is centraly located in an upscale but small area near Retiro (near the main bus and train stations, as well as "Subte" or subway stations), the Microcentro, Tribunales and Recoletta neighbourhoods. There is a nice grocery store on the next street. Rooms are clean, spacious, and have a nice design as well as equiped kitchenettes, dining tables, sofas and a balcony with large glass doors. The interior swimmimg pool and outside spa are definitely a plus, although the pool is not deep and the two spas were not always functioning. The kitchenette lacks important elements (bowls, dishwashing liquid, towels, cooking utensils, etc.). You cannot use the telephone in the room to make a call to a cell phone (but that's not specific to this hotel: communications are terrible all over Argentina). The staff do not speak any English, but will be very helpful if you can manage to communicate with some basic Spanish. All in all, this is a place I really appreciated; it's nice, well located, comfortable, quiet, and perhaps most importantly: it is affordable!
En un mot: c'est beau, propre, spacieux, bien équipé, bien situé et abordable, malgré certains éléments à améliorer. Je le recommande et je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner!
