A wonderful experience in a historic neighborhood
We have a wonderful experience in this Hotel. The hotel has a excellent location in middle of Almagro. You can find around many goods restaurants near (specially LAS VIOLETAS), supermarkets (COTTO and Carefour), groceries (if the supermarkets are closed), caffe shops, bakeries, cinemas (Cinemark in Caballito and El Abasto). About public transportation, the station CASTRO BARROS (line A) is 5 minutes walking, also you will be near important avenues where take buses (cole) that run to different places of Buenos Aires. The hotel is so beautiful, keeping the style of old house, with all the accomodations for you stay (air conditionig, wifi, TV). Definitely, I would return to the hotel if I travel to Buenos Aires again.

It’s a good hotel to stay at for a few nights. There are not much to do immediately around and that what makes the area quiet. The building itself is old and not what a standard hotel is nowadays. It has super higher ceiling, a little sound isolation. Rooms are bit big but enough for sleeping. Overall, it’s good for the price.

This charming hotel is in a very safe location and it is like a classic Buenos Aires apartment. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very responsive, kind and accommodating. Will highly recommend and definitely stay here again!

This is a boutique hotel. And the only thing to note here is that a guest has to leave their key each time you leave the room or hotel. You’d have to ring the doorbell each time you come back in to the hotel. The front is not always manned. So in that sense you feel kind of restricted and cannot freely come in an out of your room without “bothering” someone. It is a very pretty, quaint, and has an “authentic” feel to it. No fridge available and as most South American hotels, TV is only in Spanish (either Spanish programming or dubbed in Spanish. Very friendly staff though some not English-speaking.

Lovely hosts, family vibe, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, especially for our 18 month old daughter. Gorgeous balcony and great room. We loved the area too as it felt like the authentic neighborhood experience we were looking for. We would return!

A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff
This hotel was so stylish and in keeping with Buenos Aires architecture. It was lovely to not stay in a big chain, corporate hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and gave a great restaurant recommendation. The room was homely, comfortable and unique. It was the perfect place to stay for our last night in Argentina.

Comfortable and safe hotel
Hotel Boutique Raco was a wonderful and safe place to stay while visiting Buenos Aires. The staff are very friendly and accommodating: available for directions and traveling advice. The breakfasts are wonderful and filling. It is a safe place to stay in the lovely neighborhood of Almagro. While there, I was told the subway system is very easy...and it was. They let me borrow a "subte" card which I filled for my trips and returned before the end of my trip. I would definitely stay here again. It is on what seems to be on a side street, less traffic. You will definitely be able to sleep soundly after a long day of sightseeing.

A nice hotel with staff who ware excellent. The room was a good size although a little noisy when people were moving along the walkway outside. The bathroom was a bit disconcerting at first as the windows (which go down to the floor) are facing the walkway but we soon got used to that. Would be nice to have tea making facilities in the room. Would certainly return.
