If you would like to step back in time and see Tuscany at its finest, then this "Castle home" is the place to visit. The hostess is charming and her love of their home is evidenced in both the exquisite detail and preserved history at every turn. Breakfast is served in her "secret garden" and if you would like an authentic Italian dinner, she will make reservations for you at the local restaurant.
Views are spectacular and it is a place to either sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery, or walk from village to village to immerse yourself in the history of the region. Wear sturdy shoes if you want to walk,,,...easier and definitely worth it.
A short train ride from Pisa, Florence and Lucca make it a a good home base and a joy to come back to at night!
