A Cabin in the Trees a Fly Fishing Treehouse with River access & boat storage

A holiday getaway! A fly fishing dream escape including an outdoor fish washing station & boat storage. This stylish cabin nestled in the treetops is the perfect place to get away from it all. A short 3 min walk (0.2 miles) to the Cumberland River with world class trout fishing and only 25 min to Dale Hollow. From the expansive deck watch for deer, bald eagles, and other local wildlife. Bring your boat, canoes, or kayaks! Enjoy outdoor living with smores over the fire, reading in a hammock, rock painting, and a stroll to the rivers edge. The bunk loft has four twin sized mattresses, and the living room has a full sized pull out sofa to sleep 5. The kitchen provides a full sized fridge, stove, and oven and has all necessities for family meals. This is also a great location for fire side cook outs. There is a mini outdoor workspace for meal prep or processing your catch of the day. You will want to pre-plan your groceries as your retreat is 25 min to a grocery store. Note that the private boat ramp is shared with a handful of other home owners on the street.

Treehouse Paradise !
I stayed at the Treehouse September 21-22nd - this is paradise for trout fishermen (and women !) ! The property looks out over a wide swath of farmland where deer could be seen grazing. The Cumberland River is a short walk down from the cabin and from the ramp you can walk out into the river and chase trout ! I caught two nice rainbows early Sunday morning, and then switched over to my boat from the ramp in downtown Burkesville. The weather was perfect all weekend. Madison goes beyond the call of duty to make certain your stay is enjoyable - I will be back !

Quiet and dark
We were looking for a nice place to stargaze. Cabin in the Trees is next to several open fields that made stargazing on property in multiple fields of view possible. Was a nice, quiet & relaxing starry stay!

Tree house review
I thought the accommodations were great. The host was very responsive. My only criticism is that the description gave me the impression that the place was within a few steps of the river. That wasn’t the case. I probably wouldn’t have chosen the property had I realized that the river access was shared and separate from the property. I was disappointed by this. I think the description needs to specify that the access is a couple of tenths of a mile….. or at least one tenth from the cabin. Other than that, I thought everything else was excellent.

Nice place with close access to a private ramp on the Cumberland River.
My father-in-law and I were looking for a place to stay while fishing the Cumberland River. Access to the private ramp was really close and allowed us to fish a new stretch of the river. Communication with the property manager was easy and pleasant.
