Decent hotel nice that it’s within walking distance to higher ground. Only complaint is the smoke alarm outside of our room was going off every 30 seconds all night due to a battery needing to be replaced. We asked the employee at the front desk to do something about it and she said maintenance would be there in the morning to take care of it. I offered to change the batteries for her but she refused so we slept with ear plugs in. Annoying for the price of the room!

I recently stayed at The Inn at Burlington, and it was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The TV in my room didn’t work at all – it turned on, but there were no channels, not even local ones, and the internet on the TV was completely useless. When I asked to switch rooms, the front desk refused to help, and the receptionist was incredibly rude. I travel to Burlington every month, and I used to stay here regularly, but this last visit left a really bad impression. To make matters worse, they refused to give me a refund, insisting the TV was fine, which clearly wasn’t the case. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially given the poor customer service and the dismissive attitude of the staff. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

Clean and comfortable.
Room was fine and suited our needs but the front desk clerk was not friendly nor interested in making eye contact or small talk upon check. Similar experience the next morning asking for the coffee container to be refilled at 8am in the morning. Staff could benefit from being hospitable given the type of work that are in.
