The ease of check in and accessibility to the city centre and restaurants was a plus. However, the street noise every night was extreme. I also spoke with other guests that stayed there at the same time and they also had poor nights sleep while there due to the traffic noise

We stayed in the Beach apartment which was very tidy, modern, clean & comfortable with thoughtful detail. The only thing missing, in my view, for families with children particularly, is an outside gate at the front of the apartments. The front door and steps are near a very busy highway and the additional security provides a bit more comfort with peace of mind.

Burnie by the bay was a nice property with good washing/drying facilities. The only let down was the traffic noise. The property was on a main road with cars and trucks whizzing by all night. With only single glazed windows it was like a door was open all night, the traffic noise was so loud at all hours it made it difficult to sleep.

Property was nice enough but the traffic noise was terrible. Front bedroom should have double glazing. Also bedrooms needed at least fans as were quite stuffy. Would be very hot in summer. If promoting as luxury accommodation these should be standard as air conditioning was only in main area. Otherwise good.

Property is close to boardwalk, an easy walk leading into town. It is also close to The Penguin Observation experience, which was very interesting. The apartments are quite noisy, given they are situated close to traffic lights on a main road. One very minor note, it is unusual to find a unit like this without a box of tissues. All other amenities were great.

The apartment was clean & comfortable. The biggest drawback was the noise from the highway & the noise from the apartment upstairs the constant banging of kids running up & down was a big drawback. Understandably that was outside the control of the owners. It was nice to be just across the road from the penguins & within an easy walk to cafes, shops & restaurants.

This place was very well located however was on the main road so was a little noisy with trucks. For four people, it would have been nice to have more comfy couches rather than just the one. Great facilities for cooking and great value for the money.

It was a really lovely apartment, it felt new and very clean. While the location was really central for a lot of great food and tourism options, we did find the reality of staying here a bit different from the picture; when we looked at it, we got a feeling of a relaxed, quiet beachside, esplanade venue. When we arrived we realised we were staying right next to a major road - we don't actually know how they managed to take a picture with no cars in it!! A smaller matter was the continental breakfast, I thought they would come and refresh the supplies on the second day, but as it was we ran out of milk, teas, and tinned fruit. But all in all, it was a lovely stay, the service was excellent, the tips of places to visit was 10/10(!) and we were glad to stay here.
