Grandkids visit to Cumberland falls
The property was perfect. Overall, it was clean. Beds and linens were comfortable. Plenty of towels for everyone in our group. My younger kids and grandkids all stayed in the basement. They had a blast down there with the ping pong table, board games, mini shuffle board table, TV and hot tub. I love to cook, but the kitchen was limited on size and pans/utensils. But that was ok, we cut back on the meal items. We did have a small toilet leak and the property owner had the plumber put the next day. My grandkids really enjoyed the house and their time at lake Cumberland. Thank you for opening your house to us.

Good location
We had a good time at this location. The home was very nice. The stairs to the water were challenging, but the view was amazing. We didn't like paying more in taxes after spending almost $3000 for the property, but overall the stay was very good.

Gorgeous area and beautiful home
We loved it here! The house was very pretty, I do wish that we had known one bedroom was an addition to the upstairs room. The hot tub was pretty bad, we assumed it was from being turned off a while so I think that it should have been drained and refilled before we arrived. The path to the boat dock was was pretty treacherous for the kids, but more reason to keep them inside. The house is close to any and everything that we needed! Other than the hot tub, our stay was very enjoyable.

Very nice house and easily accommodated my family (all adults at this point). We fished and kayaked from the house however the steps to the lake are very steep and long. You must be able to handle steps very well. The house is very nice however could use a deep clean. We enjoyed the hot tub that was there and had plenty of privacy for our family since the house is 3 levels.

An amazing comfortable home!!
We really lucked out on this rental home. Spacious and beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The Cumberland Falls were epic and definitely worth seeing. We also found several other waterfalls in the surrounding area that were well worth the hike. After a hard day of hiking came back to enjoy a soak in their spacious hot tub. And of course, we had several competitive games of ping pong! This is a five-star rental home without a doubt!

We stayed for the week between Christmas and New Years. It was a get together for us, our two sons and their families. Not the best time of year for outdoor activities ( rain every day) but plenty of room, games and books for indoor entertainment. We had a good time.

Great place to stay
We stayed here during Christmas with our family of 7 adults & 4 kids under 2. It was very roomy & they had plenty of games for the kids already there. We had great weather so we even got to walk down to the dock to enjoy the view of the water. They provided two pack-n-plays for us as well - very helpful that we didn’t have to bring those. Very small inconvenience but I do wish they provided a few more pots/pans in more size ranges. We cooked breakfast & dinner each day and found there was not enough of them to cook a meal without having to cook one or two things at a time. We ended up going to the Dollar General close by to buy a few more ourselves. Also could have used more soap to do dishes with and something besides bar soap to wash your hands with in the bathroom. Other than those small things, we absolutely loved our stay here.

Wonderful place for a getaway
The house was very cozy and well equipped. We all had a great time! Just wish the hot tub and kitchen pots and pans were cleaner. Found a dirty coffee cup in the cabinet. Other than that, it was a wonderful spot to be with family!

Fall Family Stay at Burnside
We have been renting through VRBO for nearly two decades and check-in for this property was flawless. It went very smoothly, we rec'd excellent advance communication and the excellent staff was very responsive to our questions. It's a beautiful location and provides great access to scenery, Burnside Park, the incredible Cumberland Falls and the very enjoyable hiking at Pulaski County Park. We would have given the property a perfect 5 but the upstairs bedrooms were dusty and we are comparing to this to other VRBO properties. Perhaps this was because we found the windows to be partially open. This isn't a reason not to rent this lovely property though. We would do it again and feel that overall it provides good value; you will not be disappointed.
