This boutique hotel is 5 stars when it comes to attention to detail. Beautiful linen bedding, handmade chocolates in the room, lovely bathroom products, local guide book, and loved the linen bath robes. We had the base level room which gave us access to the common kitchen and sitting room. Breakfast was nice (help yourself) and highlighted local products like granola, coffee, yoghurts. I appreciated the quality of teas and coffees that one could help oneself to anytime. Snacks were very heavy on nut products though. I bit of variety, like a bowl of apples, might have been preferable to more organic nuts.
On the negative side, our room was very small, you could hear other people coming and going in the house due to the wooden floors, and it is very expensive. Byron Bay is now over-priced, in my opinion.
This is a great place to stay for a calm, lux touch right near the heart of town. Next time, however, I'd probably stay out of town to get more bang for the buck.
