Bystrička hotel is in quiet village area, great for relaxing. Staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast food was tasty. Rooms were clean and comfortable for a good night sleep.

The Hotel Bystricka is a bit out of the way, but it is a terrific hotel, so if you are in the area, choose this one. You need a car. Staff is super friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and quiet, and the restaurant is good. This last bit is important, because there are few nearby dining options, grocery stores, or cafes. At the end of a tiring day, sitting down to a decent meal really matters. I hope to stay here again if I get the chance.

Čistota ok! Ale… závěs, který byl původně zavěšen na 30 háčcích vyšel už jen na 10 a ten zbytek byl zaseklý v kolejnici. Po 10 minutách boje se závěs podařilo zatáhnout. Umyvadlo neodtekalo. Zima na pokoji - primotop do zásuvky byl k dispozici = smrad po jeho zapnutí. Ale alespoň bylo teplo.

Comfortable stay for a reasonable price
A lovely hotel with amazing staff, especially Ivanka who helped to sort out late check in. The room was confy, breakfast delicious, fair prices and so we can highly recommend this hotel!

Nice Clean Hotel with a Friendly Team
Really friendly and helpful staff, a clean hotel room with a nice minimalist decoration style. The team did everything I asked of them, they were so helpful. The only negative thing for me was the food, which I did not find particularly enjoyable, but it also was not bad in anyway, so just average.

Hotel could have had better breakfast.
Pleasant Hotel in the village of Bystrička just outside the City of Martin. Needed a taxi to and from the station for suitcases and when raining, although lovely walk to Martin through the countryside when weather was fine. Pity about breakfast which was one of the worst experienced in Europe over the last 2 years (19 Hotels). Served evening meals but based on breakfast experience did not try this. Room was in the attic with rooflight so did not see the great views.

A great hotel in a cute village
I randomly selected this hotel from the mobile app. It was out of the way a bit but worth it. Very seldom do small villages have great hotels. This hotel is easily a4* in my opinion. If you are doing business in Martin or the surrounding area, are on your way to/from the Tatras this would be a great stopping point just 6 minutes from the highway.

Generally nice, but a few issues
The room was nice and the staff was supportive. The restaurant was surprisingly good. We had several problems with the bathroom, though: The water in the tub took forever to get hot, and then was not very hot. And then the bathtub drain would not open with water in the tub. We had to stick fingernails under the drain plug and pull it out manually to get the water out of the tub. There was no plug in the sink drain, so you could not fill the sink with water if you wanted to.

Very cute and cosy hotel in a village
It was such a lovely, warm welcoming family business hotel in a cute little village in the edge of Slovakia. Receptionists speak perfect English and very helpful to do anything. Good food. Large room, Free wifi, Small but nice spas.

Lage: In einer kleinen Stadt gelegen. Relativ ruhig, es führt zwar eine Straße vorbei, wer damit eine Problem hat bessere Zimmer nach hinten buchen. Was stören kann ist das Gebell von Hunden, ist zwar selten in der Nacht aber, wenn es bellt dann bellt es. Zimmer: Saubere Zimmer. Betten gut. Bad sauber und geräumig. Service: Sehr aufmerksames, kompetentes, hilfsbereites Personal. Auf Allergien (Laktoseintoleranz) wurde reagiert. Ich hatte danach gefragt und sofort wurde mir ein Rührei natürlich ohne Milch und Laktose frei Milch gereicht. Sehr guter Service. Vielen Dank. Frühstück gut, alles vorhanden. Abendessen auch sehr gut. Das Personal spricht nur slowakisch und englisch, also wer Sprachprobleme hat Translator einpacken-:) Kommunikation: WLAN ausgezeichnet. Stabile Bandbreite.

Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff is friendly, and breakfast was fine. We had rooms one flight up and there is no elevator. The rooms are equipped with fans for hot summer days, but we had a problem with two dogs who barked incessantly, day and night. This is not the hotel’s fault, but kept us awake when we had open windows. With closed windows it was no problem.
